An interesting observation, one that incongruously escaped my notice. I wonder why the show's producers became more daring with Lynda Carter's costume, and had a sexier and skimpier one designed for her? Was their intent to boost ratings, or did the established popularity of the show enable them to get away with Lynda Carter wearing a more revealing outfit? I know that a Wonder Woman movie is in the works; I wonder how sexy will Wonder Woman's outfit be?
I know that Lynda Carter was bound several times in her Wonder Woman outfit, but, unfortunately, never gagged. I know that Wonder Woman has been bound AND gagged in her costume numerous times in the pages of comic books. I think that it is higly likely that Wonder Woman, not her alter ego, will at least be bound in the upcoming movie; we can only hope that she will be gagged as well.

Scene is from a movie called "Sendero equivocado". Kate del Castillo is the damsel. One of the great all time scenes. Tightly cleave gagged and tied to the side of the boat in skimpy top and tight denim shorts in a 5 minute scene. Roberto Ballesteros as the villain, Jorge Reynoso as a cop. Recorded it when it was on Telemundo in the mid 90s. It's essentially the Mexican version of "The Hitcher" with Ballesteros playing the Rutger Hauer part.

I'll say! Muchas gracias, amigo viejo. Can't quite get the hi-res clips up tonight, because the upstream at my holiday location is muy lento, but tomorrow...si, definitely tomorrow. (I've added a DB entry in the meantime.)

Speaking of web series, I bumped into one called "Angel of Death" with stuntwoman hottie Zoe Bell. She's some kind of assasin. The action is good regardless, and there is one scene where she's bound on the floor arms behind (linked at the video page). There may be a second "season" of this which will hopefully have more for this chick given the genre.

The spoilers seem to indicate the 3 ladies are kidnapped and placed in 3 different locations, each in some sort of death trap. I would think that calls for gagging them but you never can really be sure with soaps. No preview photos have surfaced yet, this action is supposed to begin this coming week and go on through Jan 11th. I'm sure as soon as we find out more, it will be posted here. This could turn out to be one of the great soap scenes ever....stay tuned same bat time, same bat channel.

Spoilers for this upcoming week say "Franco ties up Carly".
Look for Tuesday or Wednesday to begin the described spoilers. Show is a rerun on Thursday and pre-empted by football on Friday. So look for continuation on Monday Jan 4th.

As promised, clips of "Sendero mortal" (aka "Sendero equivocado") are up on my front page.

Yes, it was the Drew Barrymore/Kate Jackson rule applied to the costume. Her only "in costume" bondage scenes occured when she wore the boycutt costume that was based the old 40's WW comics. Then when she got in the sexier outfit she, to my knowledge, only got one bondage scene, the one where she's chained up the cell spread eagle style. Nice but I'd rather it be a rope and gag scene.
Have any of you ever noticed that? Damsel walks around in sexy outfits all through the series and then when her bondage scene comes up she's in a conservative outfit.

An interesting observation. At the time shows like Charlies Angels, Dukes of Hazzard, Love Boat, etc all went out of their way to feature their leading ladies in bikinis or other sexy outfits. I often wondered why they never put more bondage on their shows.
I think its a lesson all tv producers and exploitation producers. Bondage sells! Brian's pagers and the like will shell out 90 bucks for a crappy Saturday morning kids show on DVD if it featured a 10 second bondage scene of a cute host.
Like those old Bikini Car Wash movies they would run on USA back in the 90's. For the most part they showed jiggly girls runnning around but no bondage. You couldn't pay me to watch that crap. But if one of the Bikini girls got tied up I'd buy the directors cut!

One of the Final Fantasy games had a scene where the heroine was strapped into a chair and you had to make her struggle in a certain way to get loose. No gag. Sorry I no longer have it; it was for the PS2 and I think it was #7. The one with Cloud and Sephiroth in it. I remember really taking my time getting her free.

I understand what you're saying, but in defense of television and movie producers, bondage scenes only cater to one kind of persuasion. Bikini scenes (and the like) cater in some form or another to almost the entire male demographic. It would be far, far too onerous for producers to try to cater to every fetish out there. Obviously we're biased in favor of bondage scenes, but not every screenwriter/director/producer shares our enthusiasm for the subject (unfortunately for us haha).

I suspect tv censors gave informal guidelines for these shows, as well as stars preferences to not be overexploited. Note that Charlies Angels never appeared in their underwear. I know I once read that Mitzi Kaptur insisted on this for Silk Stalkings. And Cheryl Ladd claimed to have softened Charlies Angels exploitative edge. I suspect in the seventies there was an informal (or perhaps even formal) rule that however much you feature bikinis or bondage, the two together would be 'pushing it.'

Today while channel surfing I stumbled on an episode where khloe handgags Kim and then drags her across the floor by her ankles . I was told she spanked one of the other sisters. does anybody follow this show ? are there other handgags ?

Sherlock Holmes
Feels so weird to see bondage in movies with your girlfriend when you tie her up and gag her but she doesn't exactly know you have a bondage 'fetish' hehehe...

Did any hotties appear in underwear in the 70's, do any now? On cable yeah, but not commercial TV. As far as bondage censorship, it was self imposed by Aaron Spelling. At the time the concept of 3 undercover hotties was like a new American version of The Avengers which had just ended it's run. But CA was just after the Patty Hearst kidnapping and I remember seeing Spelling on TV in an interview and when asked how titillating and/or intense the show would be he said it would be about style and fashion and fantasy and that "we aren't going to tie them and gag them and lock them in a closet" as a direct reference to the Hearst case. For the original 3 Angels I don't think there was even one gag scene, was there?
