| In case no one here caught it, there is an animated scene in Cars 2 where Miss Holley Shiftwell (voice of Emily Mortimer) is tied to a giant cog in the Big Ben tower near the end of the film. Mater and the male spy car are also present. She engineers the escape. |

| It's hard to figure out much from this report, but nothing here sounds super-promising, IMHO. Don't much care for this "Bosley is like the fourth Angel" concept or the "throw it at the wall, see if it sticks" general disposition of the producers. Won't be able to figure out too much until it premieres, but I'm sure we'll all be curious about the "action-packed new trailer." Hopefully it'll leak in the next couple of days. |

| I found some images from the new Conan movie on a movie site called "Clatto Verata" that showed that Conan intends to earn its R rating the hard way, with images of topless slave girls. And some of the topless slave girls show up in chains. Naturally I got a pic and put it on my blog. There are also a lot of images from the upcoming John Carter of Mars movie, with no nudity or bondage in sight ... it's Disney y'know. Sigh. Of course, it would be surprising if they announced 'we plan to tie up the women a lot'. I think it sounds very promising over all. But reviews of the pilot have been dismal, with many people predicting quick cancellation. |
