Junkyard Dog 2010 movie
This week's DTV horror scene comes thanks to this watered down cross between Silence of the Lambs and Saw.

Galadriel Stineman plays a teenager kidnapped by a rogue pick up truck driver, and imprisoned in a specially made underground room, and is raped and abused. Pretty horrible stuff. No bondage occurs at this point. Vivica A Fox, rocking the MILF FBI agent look, is hunting the rapist, and guess what accepts a lift from a friendly neighbourhood pick up driver.

Next thing you know, she's banged on the head and taken prisoner. We're 50 mins, 40 mins left let the bondage scenes begin...

...Or not...despite being a SAW wannabee, Fox spends roughly 60 secs handcuffed (in front) to a table. And then is allowed to wander the underground room for the rest of the movie. At the end of the movie Stineman is strapped to a table, and menanced but it's nothing special.

Such a missed opportunity. The film is pretty bad, coming off as SAW done by the writers of Hart to Hart. One for completeists only...

Sam, you know I love and respect you and your contributions, but really dude, man up! On the gore scale, Hostel is about a 6, max, maybe even just a 5. There's LOTS worse out there on film, like the Japanese film, Grotesque (2009), and The Butcher (2007)(Tartan Asian Extreme). And even those aren't the worst of what's available. I'd give those two about a 8.5, maybe a 9. If you want to know about the 10's, give me a shout.

And then of course, there's the part about all of this being completely FAKE. As in NOT REAL.

You know I'm just messing with you, but seriously, the HOSTEL's are not that big of a deal if taken in context. I have complete faith that you can handle it.

Too bad. Wanted to see her gagged for a long time. Never saw her soap opera gag scene.
