The complete run of "The Girl From U.N.C.L.E." will be released on DVD in two parts this Tuesday, August 23rd through the Warner Archive "On Demand" series. The details including box art can be found at the link. Didn't think we'd ever see a release for this one. |

I was too focused on the three of them bound and gagged with duct tape, making helpless noises through their gags. |

This is very true... I bet people remember most of the bondage scenes theway I remember the best barefoot scenes... I enjoy them at some level, but since it is not my kink it I hardly notice them. |

Saturday August 20 11:37:14 2011 Interesting Anne Hathaway Picture |
From "Interview Magazine". A lot of the comments on the web seem to think the whole gagged imagery is deliberate. http://www.interviewmagazine.com/film/anne-hathaway-1/#/ |
Saturday August 20 11:40:53 2011 More Kill! Kill! Overkill! |
That truly was a great scene-machine of a flick. Two miscellany items: 1) One of the actresses was also a frequent model for Harmony. I can't remember either of her names - her "legit actor" name nor her HCI pseudonym - but there she was. She was unusual for fetish porn at the time because she never went topless. 2) As bad as this movie was, quality-wise, it was still competent enough to have internal continuity. The gig redneck's roll of duct tape actually got smaller as he used it. Of course, it may have been a case of the producers being so cheap they only bought the one roll and we saw it shrink in real time. Man, I'd love to see that VHS classic again. |

Saturday August 20 12:07:27 2011 Laura Haddock |
An article about beautiful British actress Laura Haddock said she is to play a kidnapped doctor on Sky1 show "Strike Back." Any British people here know anything about this? |

I was just flicking through some past messages on here and one used seemed to imply that there was a handgag for Natalie Portman in one of the Star Wars films, is this true? |

Another actress in the movie also was in the adult movie business. Sandra Margot Wrestled under the name Tiffany Mellon for the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (GLOW) organization and syndicated television series in the late 1980s. Moved over to the adult industry since she thought was being harrassed by mgmt. The above was from IMDB. More at Wiki - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiffany_Million |

Sneakly wrote: > Jacot wrote: > > Pat Powers wrote: > > > I don't think mainstream folks associate Man > from > > UNCLE > > > with bondage at all, In general, while there are now many winking references to bondage in American culture, very few mainstream sources will say outright that a woman looks hot bound and gagged. Sometimes you see references to Wonder Woman, Betty Page or Emma Peel as dominatrixes, which pretty much misses the point. Batman was a key show for many of us, but you are more likely to see references to the gay subtext than to Yvonne Craig tied up, outside of sites like this. It is a little strange. |

Well, not EXACTLY flying monkeys, but I do have bots that scan the Interwebs for websites and blog posts that have all the "right" keywords. And I keep an eye out for prudo-feminist outrage, it's sometimes very useful. |

You raise an interesting point. I do think things are turning around, and as it just so happens I put up a blog post yesterday about it on my blog. It came about because my flying monkeys (ok, they're pretty much standard issue bots) that comb the web for me found a mainstream celeb site called "Hollywood Life" that has an article on it entitled: "15 Hollywood Bondage Girls: Angelina Jolie, Miley Cyrus & More! Who’s Hottest?" So there's a certain amount of general positive interest in bondage imagery in the mainstream. On the other hand, not a single image in that article showed anyone tied up or gagged in any way. So I guess may have a point! Maybe there's a kind of schitzy double-vision thing where "bondage-like" stuff is hot but actual bondage imagery is a little TOO much. I dunno. Still thinking about it, to tell the truth. Link to the article on my blog, along with another article about censorship of some bondage imagery in Australia. |

Saturday August 20 19:26:17 2011 point of interest |
I prefer two women who are bound and gagged who then try to communicate with each (loni anderson lynda carter, michael michelle, lisa cutter) other to form a plan to get loose, than those who do nothing but wimper and whine through out thier ordeal. Your thougts and prefrences and examples |

The best scenes IMHO are those which have 2 or more damsels gag-talking or mmpphhing energetically to help each other out of their predicament. I don't mind whimpering in between (after all, it's part of the "distress"), but I quite like it when they're totally calm about the situation like Loni Anderson when she crawls over to get that knife, all whilst explaining things to Lynda Carter through her gag. It's a kind of proactive fiestiness which makes for a hot damsel. Then again, I can always appreciate the opposite in a scene where they're totally resigned to their fate & can only cry, whimper and/or scream. |

Saturday August 20 21:14:48 2011 A Horrible Way To Die |
If you go to the IMDB page for this movie and look at the official photos, there is one of an actress tied and duct tape gagged. http://movies.nytimes.com/2011/08/19/movies/a-horrible-way-to-die-directed-by-adam-wingard.html At the bottom of the article by the rating it says the film includes trussing and gagging. |

The Panabaker sisters (Danielle in Shark, and Kay in CSI) were B&G in separate scenes, and Tracey and Jessie Gold were B&G together in "Crime of Passion." |
