Alexandra Daddario from the movie PERCY JACKSON AND THE LIGHTNING THEIF has a scene in straight to DVD movie she strung up and cleave gagged. |
Wednesday August 31 01:33:00 2011 Damsels who deserve to be gagged |
Usually damsels are considered victims when they are bound and gagged, but sometimes their behavior/mouth up to that point in the movie/show makes the gag well deserved. Christina Ricci had a very sassy and rude mouth for most of That Darn Cat, which made it only right to see the kidnappers duct tape her mouth. Nell Carter was loud, annoying, and simply wouldn't shut up in 7 Days "Live From Death Row" which got her a well earned duct tape gag. Anybody know of any scenes where the damsel deserved the gag based on her actions before getting kidnapped/captured? |

The navy seal-turned-villain says something like, "I've been waiting to do this since I met you" or something before he tape gags the damsel in THE ABYSS. And one of my favorite kinds of scenes, the rarer gagged-but-not-tied. |

You captured the meaning of my post exactly, and offered some interesting insights as well. The movies and series that air on these two networks are oriented towards a female audience because they feature HEROINES, strong, empowered women who surmount any obstacle, even if they are occasionally bound and gagged in the process. You're absolutely correct when you state that women enjoy movies and series featuring suspense, intrigue, and imperiled female characters; these two networks wouldn't air such programs otherwise. And the generous bondage content of these programs may not be coincidental, either, if, as you say, a lot of women enjoy stories featuring restrained female characters. These two networks must cater to what women like, and their programming is reflective of this. These two networks have a FEMININE orientation, but definitely not a FEMINIST orientation. Most feminists would decry not only the considerable bondage content of their programming, but also the fact that nearly all of the important female characters are, at the very least, attractive. These two networks cater to a certain demographic, the college-educated professional woman, who doesn't consider herself a feminist, and considers herself, or would like to be considered, attractive. |

One of the first scenes I saw as a child that made me know I was interested in this stuff was the Batgirl scene on "Batman" where Batgirl was mouthing off to Catwoman and Catwoman said, "Angora, gag her! That's enough of your nonsense. Crimefightresses should be seen and not heard." Well done Catwoman. Other villains should learn from you. |

Which actresses do you think spent the most time on-screen bound and gagged in a movie? Do you think Gemma Arterton in her recent movie is the top one? How about in a TV show? |
Wednesday August 31 10:28:02 2011 Re: Darryl Hannah |
Sorry, the picture in the previous post didn't work. If you gto on "Google Images" and type "Darryl Hannah arrested" you can see several pictures of her handcuffed. |
Wednesday August 31 11:06:04 2011 Re: Hong Kong Actress Cecelia Cheung |
It's a video clip filmed in 2006 translated as "Paparazzi Prisoners of War". According to the director the concept of the video was supposed to depict the pressure and pain that the paparazzi inflicted on celebrities. I'd have to say the best is Irene Jacob in History Is Made At Night....You have to love how much she resists the tape going on, and the glare she gives the villain. Top scene for a top beauty |

Wednesday August 31 15:52:12 2011 Ten Tall Men |
There are a couple of scenes for a cute chick named Joey Lawrence in "Ten Tall Men," a desert actioner starring Burt Lancaster in his early years. It's on at 8:00am EDT tomorrow, Turner Classic Movies (TCM). She is a petite brunette, wearing an Arabian harem costume and she is kidnapped by French Foriegn Legioniers i.e: Burt and friends. Several scenes of Miss Lawrence bound and gagged. Personal Holy Grail of mine. |

Wednesday August 31 16:26:21 2011 338 Arletta Ave |
From the always worth reading Bloody Disgusting [dot] com comes an article on 338 Arletta Ave, debuting at Toronto International Film Festival soon. From the site: "Shot from the point of view of hidden cameras, the film follows a thirty-something couple, James and Amy Deakin, as they are secretly videotaped 24/7 by a mysterious stalker in their home, on the streets and at their workplace. The stalker uses information gleaned from the footage to subtly manipulate the unsuspecting couple and cracks in their relationship surface. When Amy suddenly vanishes, James is not sure whether she has been abducted or has simply left him. As the acts of the tormentor become more twisted and violent, James desperately tries to figure out who is behind the terror in order to save his wife. But it seems the stalker is always one move ahead…" The accompanying photo shows a duct-tape gagged Ms. Kirshner bound in one of my all time favorite positions: sitting on the floor with her hands bound below her knees. (Why this one isn't seen more often is beyond me - it's so damned effective: both visually and from a practical position. I mean, you can't really do anything while bound like that. No "rubbing the wrists against a loose nail to get free" or anything like that.) Anyway, check the site for more info. Looks like a keeper;. |

Hadji wrote: > ... Many of them enjoy the fantasy of being in danger and dealing with risky situations. ... I think this sums it up; it's not about the restraints (for most) but the situation. I remember reading a woman's blog about her favorite movie types (non fetish) and she explained how she liked seeing female characters fall for a bad boy putting her at risk (intentionally or accidentally) then changing 'his ways' and rescuing her (no mention of bondage). A movie with this type of plot that came to mind after reading this was the flick with Hillary Tuck and the MILF (her co-star) from "Honey I shrunk the kids" called "Wild Card". Mediocre film but sums up the fantasy element for many women. |

The amount of TGTGT (Totally Gratuitous Totally Gay Touching) between Jane & Maura is off the chart. Also, Jane's abs are worthy of a spinoff. I still think next Monday's DiD is *not* Maura (Sasha), but I'll be watching anyway, *and* the rerun on Tuesday. |
