Charlies Angels
Charlies Angels starts filming today in Miami. As during the filming of the pilot, we can expect lots of tweeting and leaked photos. I am hoping for something like this from @MinkaKelly: Spent the whole day bound and gagged with @RachelTaylor and @AnnieIllonzeh! #sosore #bondage #charliesangels (twitpic)

Did that pilot episode ever actually air?

I don't think so, according to imdb it should air at 22 September 2011.

True Bllod
This past Sunday's True Blood featured a witch tied to the stake around 10 minutes in. They reshow this episode all week on the numerous HBO channels. It's also On Demand.

Help Finding Spanish Scene
It was on here a while back. A group of young Latina women clad in Greek/Roman robes and togas had been bound and gagged by a group of girls who taunted them and left them tied up in a room?

Anyone remember this?

Dorian's scene from OLTL
What happened to Dorian after the kid decided to play Spider-Man with Echo?

Missed the first ten minutes or so today. When I tuned in the cops had arrived and Dorian was free. Echo was "webbed" against the wall including some of the stuff over her face, and the cops were working on freeing her. Later she said something like "Do you have any idea what that tasted like?" Echo got handcuffed by the cops, Dorian talked to someone (sorry, can't remember who) about being kidnapped, bound, and gagged. That was it, except for a guest star (guy) being zip-tied, gagged, and shot by some of those mysterious secret agency men in black who are always showing up in tv and movies.

Why are they filming in Miami? The show is called "Charlie's Angels". "Charlie's ANGELs" as in Los Angeles (Spanish for "The ANGELs"), which is where the show is supposed to take place and where it should be filmed. Do these people not understand subtext? The center of the film industry is Los Angeles. Why go out of the way to film in Miami?

Hostel
Hey guys, just a question: how gory/unpleasant are the scenes in Hostel? Every so often I see it mentioned in DiD circles, but usually in a negative context. I've read the dB entry (which perhaps makes it sound somewhat tamer than it really is), but for those of you who've seen it, would you recommend that I check it out in HD?

Bear in mind that I couldn't even handle the shot of Jessica Stroup getting the back of her ankle sliced in Homecoming, so if it's much worse than that............

Money; whichever city offers the best tax breaks to the filmmakers/producers such as "Burn Notice".

Sam- I just put some fair quality clips on the video page, so you can check them out for yourself before going after any HD clips. There is some blood, so if you are squeamish, you probably won't like them.

Thanks for those! From the looks of it they didn't seem too bad, so I'm off to find that HD grab.

Yeah. Naturally on the guy we get a decent gag.

Sun, surf, palm trees, pastel Art Deco buildings, Cuban sandwiches... what's the problem?

The bigger question is: why don't the "Angels" have wings?

Ah, yes, Cowgirls At War. Your post inspired me to post to my blog about it. National Lampoon was really edgy and dangerous in those days, not the tame purveyors of weak sauce they are now. I've got a couple of images of it on my blog post, can't post one here as there is cartoon nudity and things are supposed to be Safe For Work here. But you can find 'em at the link.

For years I've thought I was the only sqeamish one on this sight, so it's nice to know that I'm not the only one who feels that way. I remember seeing a picture in BL years ago of Kate Hodge in Leather Face with a tape gag between her lips and the columnist mentioned something to the effect to not even ask what she's tied to. For that reason I've never been able to bring myself to check it out no matter how good the gag scene looks. It's not blood that bothers me it's the gore or creetures that I have trouble with. I can barely bring mysels to watch the Hellraiser III scene, or the scene where this virginally clad woman, blonde, dressed in white with a white cloth gag, is to be served up by David Warner to this creature from hell. The heroine and the name of the movie escape me, but Fred Ward and Julianne Moore were in it. So Sam you're not alone in your sqeamishness about certain things.

The database description for Leatherface didn't do it justice, so I expanded it a bit. If you want to get an idea of how disgusting the scene was, I think its covered now. and FYI - the David Warner movie is "Cast A Deadly Spell".
