Considering all the awesome high-definition caps and clips you provide free of charge, Sam... I'm pretty sure we can find it in our hearts to forgive you. :) |

Thursday July 07 16:01:36 2011 ABC soaps OLTL, AMC to continue online |
Breaking news of a very good sort: One Life to Live and All My Children will continue to produce episodes, albeit online. Both have provided a lot of good damsel scenes over the years, especially OLTL. I'm sure there will be some budget changes, like cast reductions and the like, and it's hard to know how well this will fly or how long it will last. Something's always better than nothing, though, so this is heartening news. |

Thursday July 07 16:17:09 2011 possibility in "Assassination Games" |
A movie called "Assassination Games" is supposed to be (probably very briefly) in theatres later this month. It stars martial arts movie icons Jean-Claude Van Damme and Scott Adkins and apparantly has a scene or two. The stars play two assassins who want a drug kingpin dead for different reasons. Adkins' reason is the guy and his thugs attacked Adkins' wife and left her in a coma. He's shown tied and gagged in a chair while the villains grab the woman - that's a possibility. Also in the trailer there's a brief shot of the bad guy talking on the phone while off to the side there's a woman (maybe the same one, maybe not) tied and tape gagged in a chair. It almost goes without saying that it'll be a not-so-pretty good movie, but these could make it more interesting. |

"Assassination Games" is tentatively scheduled for limited release on August 29, not in July. |

Well, this is good news, especially seeing how that Oprah Winfrey's Network turned them down. I have two questions: 1) Will any scene that happens on an online version of one of these soaps be on-topic here and show up in the voluminous database? 2) Has any other program made it (financially) as an online-only entity? If so, why hasn't one of the worthies here produced a 'New Adventures of Bondage Babe' or some such? |
Thursday July 07 17:37:07 2011 Odd Question |
Odd question. And if this is inappropriate, by all means delete my post. Does anyone remember any scenes where the damsel was tied up for so long that she soils herself? I think this is a legitimate point. If someone was held captive for even a few hours (and their captor did not allow bathroom breaks), this is just a natural consequence. |

Thursday July 07 19:00:54 2011 GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY MISSED ON DAYS |
For those of you who've been keeping an eye on this soap a golden opportunity for a scene was missed today. You know about this impostor of Rafe whose been held in a basement room bound and gagged for weeks. Somehow an out of it Nicole finds him and gets talked into freeing him. Just when it seems he's planning to b&g her she passes out cold saving him the trouble. He then walks out leaving her there passed out. |

A lot of mainstream entertainment these days is online-only. Just because it doesn't appear over the airwaves or on cable doesn't make it off-topic. These are still the same soaps with the same production company. > 2) Has any other program made it (financially) as an > online-only entity? Regardless, I don't know whether there's been a test case so far of a long-established TV show moving to online-only distribution. I'm sure these shows will continue to have "limited commercial interruptions," the way all legit streaming episodes do these days, so advertising dollars will be involved. I imagine they won't make nearly as much from advertisers, though, because the audience will be somewhat smaller. |

Thursday July 07 19:19:47 2011 Horrible Bosses |
This is what it says of Jennifer Aniston's character in a script I read: "Julia is strapping herself into an elaborate series of leather straps, all culminating in a choke collar around the neck" So, hopefully we'll get something. Movie opens tomorrow. |
