I made this entry. It's not in the DB now. I saw 3 of the 4 eps. In ep 75 there's a very brief scene with the 2 girls (who were abducted in ep 74 according to the TV stations description) tied when the abductor comes to feed them.
In ep 76 we don't see them at all, other tribe members just talk about how to find them.
Then in ep 77 they free themselves in an unseen way as said, and shortly after they are found and released from the locked room.
I can't make any meaningful entry of each ep.
Why has the entry been removed?

Re: Split Them Up?
Hmmm, now that I think about it, I think it should be changed to "episode: 73-77".
I remember the TV stations description. In one ep they are abducted. In the next there's a shot where we see the captive girls talking about what to do.
Those were the ones I, unfortunately, missed.
Next, feeding scene (75)
Next, no show just talk (76)
next, freedom (77)

I suggest you change "74-77" to "73-77" and put it back in.

Okay, so Denmark air-scheds have to check.

Entry was removed due to only mention of manacled fella in the guide for episodes you posted. No mention of characters you posted about.

What to do,
I'll post those descripts up. Appreciate if you post up everything you saw in plots and what Denmark airscheds have to say.
Try to sort that way.

Man, we have language issues here! What are "Denmark air-scheds", I have no idea!

True, there was a manacled "fella" too. He was manacled, and caged too, in the Mall Rats home (Mall rats=the Tribe we follow). He was the leader of a former religious cult (Where character Amber was supposed to be the "divine mother" that is bear his child).
This is a different storyline, until ep 77. There, the captive girls Amber and Trudy, seen sitting back to back, hands restrained behind, worry that they might die because their captor has not been there to feed them.
He hasn't because he let this guy out- and is killed by him eventually.

Jay get a better guide. Do you think I make this up?????

I could only find TVtome, and they don't list these eps yet, there's a hole. So I don't know how to prove my case.
I could send you the tape, if you can see tapes in PAL format.
I AM disappointed you do not believe my word. Why would I lie about this? Why?

Amber har mareridt om Vogteren. Bray føler sig ansvarlig for situationen. Ebony var ikke just den, der skulle have haft magten i byen. Jack vandrer langs floden og hører skrig. Han redder en ung pige fra et par bøller. I mellemtiden sørger Alice over tabet af Ned.

-from the TV station's (TV2) description of the ep next saturday.
Means: Amber has nightmares about the Guardian (the leader of the religious cult, the "fella" manacled and caged, now free)
....blabla......
In the meantime, Alice mourns over the loss of Ned
(Ned is the one who kidnapped Amber and Trudy, who released the Guardian, and was killed by him. Alice used to be his girlfriend.)

I wish I could find descriptions of eps already shown, but they are not online anymore.

Forgot: Means Ebony wasn't exactly the one who should have had the power in the city.

-she won an election. An intrigant woman, she was partially allied with Ned the kidnapper, and knew he held Amber and Trudy captive. Also, she was the one who came and let them out of the locked room after they freed themselves from the bondage.

Aaah this must be enough. Jay do what you want, I don't care.

OK, not that it will bring much new.

ep 73: Amber and Trudy are kidnapped by Ned. They are tied up hands behind, and locked in a room in an abandoned building. (From TV station description, I did not see this)

ep 74: Amber and Trudy sit tied in the room, discussing what to do. (From TV station description, I did not see this)

ep 75: Ned comes to feed his captives Amber and Trudy. He gloats a bit. They sit backs against the wall, hands tied behind. They seem desperate. (I saw and taped this)

ep 76: No show of the girls, but the Mall Rats discuss if they are still alive, and if they are, how to find them.

ep 77: Long shot of the girls, now sitting back to back, hands still tied behind. Even more desperate since Ned the kidnapper has not come to feed them. (He has released the Guardian who has thanked him by killing him)
The girls tries to encourage each other: "Think positive! We will be found!"
Next shot, both are standing, free, rubbing their wrists. Then they hear footsteps, and character Ebony unlocks and open the door.

Re: Tribe Ep 73/74 Synop
Sinking yet another bottle of wine, LEX opens up to SALENE. But LEX's vulnerability is a fragile and precarious thing - and fleeting too, as SALENE instead encounters Lex's other side...

DANNI, caged, tells BRAY she's sure EBONY was the poison peddler - she is going to bring down the Mall Rats, just as DANNI predicted. Is BRAY just going to stand by and watch?

RYAN enraged like never before, throws his one-time best buddy out of the Mall. Never show your face round these parts again! BRAY approves: LEX needs to go away and have a good long think about who his friends are.

RYAN and SALENE have a good long think and decide they are very special friends indeed. It's time to consummate their relationship.

Chief Prosecutor EBONY is dead eager to get the trial underway. ALICE, for one, is already suspicious. But PATSY and CLOE have already decided DANNI's guilty - and she must pay for murdering BOB.

EBONY protests that the jury is loaded toward DANNI. She insists that five of her MILITIA be sworn in, as balance. BRAY insists that PATSY and CLOE abstain. Grumbling, they take the lamb back to the farm. They pass a drunken old loser on the way: didn't take LEX long to completely disintegrate ...

EBONY's interrogation of DANNI arouses suspicions about her background. DANNI's struggling to keep her story straight. Is she really a spy for the CHOSEN??

In the recess DANNI has a startling confession for BRAY...

BRAY promises to keep her secret safe...

... And discards the other secret he's been keeping. In the courtroom, with things looking very bad for DANNI, BRAY reveals he told EBONY the antidote formula but only to try to save TRUDY and BRADY. The accused is found innocent, but she's not entirely off the hook. RYAN and SALENE agree - there's still something dodgy about that DANNI.

The Tribe's trust in BRAY is compromised. PATSY and CLOE don't know if they'll be able to believe anything he says ever again. BRAY is crushed.

The newssheet has elicited a huge response for JACK and ELLIE. JACK staggers under the weight of information about the virus.

EBONY confronts SPIKE, furious about the jury's verdict. He'll have to make it up to her - big time.

PATSY and CLOE stumble upon a stray pooch being hurt by some horrid BULLYBOYS. Festy creeps!

SPIKE leaves - his hand forced by EBONY.

The others are dismayed to discover that the foodstore has been raided. Can they pin it on EBONY and force her out? But the Head of Security's got an answer for everything. She arrives with SPIKE's "confession". TAI-SAN doesn't believe a word of it.

BRAY, trying to restore tribe togetherness, organises a celebration dinner. DANNI is almost enjoying herself when JACK and ELLIE enter with another lead to the mysterious Pandorax Company...
Tuesday October 28 15:14:51 2003
Tribe 75/76
A week later: the day of the Trading Market Grand Opening.

DANNI's upbeat after her lucky escape - JACK and ELLIE's Pandorax lead fizzled to nothing. But the intrepid reporters are still on the case... DANNI tries to dissuade them from continuing their investigation - they're acting like vultures!

LEX wanders the streets, a Mall Rat outcast with only a stray DOG for company.

ALICE gets at EBONY - she's got her sussed. ALICE is capable of murder herself - if anything else should happen to TAI-SAN...

TAI-SAN explains to ALICE why she doesn't want protection. There's more than one way to fight for life!

EBONY doesn't believe in a free market economy.

KC ribs DANNI about cutting the ribbon; bracing BRAY addresses the crowd. Let's make history! When the tribes learn to live together again, there will be peace and prosperity for all.

EBONY confronts TAI-SAN - get ALICE the muck-raker to shut up with the character assassinations!

PATSY and CLOE are cross: they're always being forced to fit into someone else's version of someone else's vision. They're working on one of their own - and the first step for Tribe C&P is to find that cute DOG again...

RYAN and SALENE are steeped in post-coital bliss. Diesel-fuelled DAL persuades them to come play tractors.

Gather ye rucksacks while ye MAY. Honour amongst thieves and camaraderie amongst OUTCASTS - LEX has found a refuge.

The stray DOG discomBOBulates PATSY and CLOE.

JACK and ELLIE have discovered DANNI's connection with Pandorax...

DANNI explains - her father was a genetic engineer working for Pandorax. He created the deadly virus, but not on purpose! The Tribe reel. So the adults got the virus and DANNI's got a terminal case of guilts. And BRAY knew about this?! The honest eco-warrior has no time to defend his muddied reputation - he's a sucker for a DANNI-in-distress.

The Tribe are shocked. Were the adults dumb or what?! EBONY senses an opportunity. She launches a campaign to overthrow BRAY.

DANNI can't run forever. But she can try.

LEX hangs with the outcasts, but all MAY not be as it seems.

DAL returns with the ancient amulet he found at the farm. TAI-SAN marvels at its familiar pentangle design. That's gotta be some kind of sign.

BRAY follows DANNI to a meadow. She's given him meaning - and he's not going to give that up so easily.

EBONY acknowledges the little people. If the Tribe support her, they'll get rewarded. But do they trust her?

LEX is cast out of the castouts. And no shoes to boot. RYAN tracks him down. LEX decides to lose his loserness.

BRAY returns with DANNI. The Tribe are forgiving after all.

EBONY strikes, announcing her scheme to sell the antidote. All objectors can just butt out. But LEX returns with a revelation - he hasn't had the antidote for ages. The word on the street is the virus has gone. No virus? That means no antidote - and no power... for any of the Tribe.
Tuesday October 28 15:16:29 2003
Tribe 77/78
BRAY and DANNI's dream of a united society seems to be coming to fruition. For a whole fortnight the MALL RATS have kept quiet about the disappearance of the virus and have continued to dole out the antidote to the grateful, blissfully ignorant multitude. Under the guidance of our Tribe, Œvolunteers' have cleaned up the city. But does the end ever justify the means? And what will happen when the tribes figure out they've been duped?

Judge DANNI finds her greatest trial lies in stopping EBONY's Militia from beating up the accused before the case is heard. And teacher SALENE wants to know what's so special about DAL and RYAN's pumpkin anyway ...

ELLIE is strangely drawn to the amulet and it to her, according to TAI-SAN. DAL is thrilled - JACK isn't, especially when ELLIE resigns from the newssheet. She can no longer live with the lies!

An ominous rumble of dissent among the volunteers. Rumours are spreading that the antidote is no longer needed - aren't people being conned by the Mall Rats?

At the Trading Market, LEX spots a thief - but botches his capture. Are the pink bunnies trying to tell LEX something? LEX needs to prove himself ... to himself.

KC's ego is cruising for a bruising. After a day of rebuffs, KC's path "accidentally" crosses with that of SPIKE - loudly and publicly vowing to get even with EBONY for forcing him out. KC trails the loquacious ex-LOCO.

DANNI and EBONY argue over a suitable punishment for THE HUNGA.

KC returns and secretly tells EBONY what he's seen. Redemption!

Issues of law and order. ALICE proposes LEX as Market Supervisor. No more cheatin', no more lyin', and no more lyin' in bed till midday either...

JACK works his charms on ELLIE.

Vengeance is all SPIKE's. EBONY falls right into his trap...

SPIKE considers his revenge. Even EBONY must have a breaking point!

BRAY brims with optimism. The streets are clean, and it's all because of DANNI. She makes him care. He makes her breathless.

Mr. Market Supervisor swears he's cleaned up his act. He's off the booze and on the wagon.

Out of the mouths of babes and children - RYAN's got the gift. SALENE's impressed.

SPIKE reveals his genius. It was all a set-up. But is he man enough to defeat ZOOT's ex-woman?

LEX seeks out the hidden benefits of his new job. There's a certain amount of cheatin' and lyin' involved.

DANNI's worried - are the kids are tumbling to the antidote scam? She has a cunning plan: deny. Deny. Deny.

LEX makes up with SALENE - sort of.

Where's EBONY? Who knows and who cares - as long as she doesn't come back! TAI-SAN's concerned though. Hey, wasn't KC the last person to see her? The little guy comes over all sulky and vague - he can't remember anything.

JACK is bitten by love. Mega.

ELLIE's furious when she sees the newssheet. DANNI and BRAY are founding their brave new world on deceit and lies! The FARMWORKERS aren't too impressed either.

KC cuts a deal with THE HUNGA. As God is his witness, he'll never be manacled again.

Staunch EBONY's starting to crack. Some horrifying memories surface in a nightmare ... She wakes in terror.

... and so does TAI-SAN. She has had a dream that EBONY's in grave danger...

Okay, if running in order? You may have a VHS Machine alert here?

Episodes: 79/80:
"Witching hour. EBONY's in danger! - but ALICE and the rest of the tribe refuse to be stirred from their beds. It's only that weirdo TAI-SAN having a wee dream; and the dream was only about EBONY anyhow. TAI-SAN is left frustrated.
SPIKE the rat experiments with various forms of revenge. Even black widow EBONY must have a breaking point!

Beneath her staunch veneer EBONY's nightmare continues. She is being tortured by too-vivid memories of sociopath mentor ZOOT, and his somewhat idiosyncratic method of making friends and influencing people..."

Have a look at this from same ep (79/80) description:

New entry # 9279
Someone has entered a not-very-good summary of Tawny Kitaen's scenes in "Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik Yak" movie, as entry 9279.

There is a much better and far more detailed entry already in the DB,at #897.

Ohh Ebony bound? I MUST see the next episodes.
Most of the descriptions you provide seems to be BEFORE the bondage I described. Like Ebony wanting to overthrow Bray, a long time since Bray was the leader of anything.

I am sorry. This is not the first time the TV station fucked up the ep numbers. I understand your scepticism Jay.
But I will repeat, I saw it with my own eyes, and I recorded it with my own VCR.

The scene exists just as I described. As for correct ep numbers I dunno if the TV station cannot be trusted....
