Your scene description dead on Peter. Figure just going to edit abit for scene time, and I favour Karina Marmann.
Gertrud Nothhorn also credited, just haven't found photo of her yet to confirm.
You may want to check it.

Btw: Nice little scene, as usual thanx for your alert on this one.

A Man Called Sledge
Present:

Record number: 2163
Title: Man Called Sledge, A (1970)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Laura Antonelli
Description: James Garner is cast against type as brutal outlaw Luther Sledge. His gang are after a cache of gold hidden in a prison. Ria (played by Italian supermodel Antonelli) gets in his way and winds up detective gagged with dirty brownish cloth and bound to a cross.
Action starts about eighty minutes into the film. There are several tight close-ups of the red-haired Antonelli's gagged face.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
A detail, but we DO want the details right, right?

I just saw caps and a video clip of the scene. Cute Antonelli is gagged as described. However, she stands with her back against a big rock, her arms stretched out to the sides, both wrists tied with rope going around the rock.
I did not see any crosses.

I don't mind fixing details.
So's okay with me.

Actually, I believe it was a wall in a ghost town ... I can't recall if a wooden cross was propped up against it.

There were closeups of her bound wrists in the video and in the caps too. As I said, I did not see any crosses.

I could put it up on my homepage if you doubt me.

Not a matter of doubting you. You said you didn't see a cross ... not that there definitely was not one ... and I couldn't recall if there was one.

Please post the caps, though ... I'm almost dead solid certain about her being against a wall, but it couldn't hurt to verify.

Maybe you are right, it is a stone wall she is tied to, not only one stone or rock. Still no crosses that I see.. Anyway see for yourself. Follow the link. There's caps and a vid clip too (Gotta have Quicktime)
(I prepared this before reading your post; better than talk is action, as my great-great-great grandmother are supposed to have said :) )

Re: A Man Called Sledge
Jay, maybe you should change "bound speadeagle to a rock, with rope circling around the rock" into "bound with rope tying her wrists to a stone wall, arms outstretched in a spreadeagle".

Biff would you be happy with that?

Sorry for the trouble. I just wanted to be a good boy.

Don't figure you're being doubted here.

Biff could be recalling the film. Haven't seen the film myself, but know some cappers omit all non-gag scenes.
Just a guess?

Wouldn't call it trouble, this happens abit and to me anyway, Biff just trying to assist you.

Here's another similar, [#1856] House of 1,000 Dolls (1967)
Told the first part of entry (two bound women) didn't exist and wanted it edited out, but also told it did and leave it be.
Aired here and that scene was in it. Passed it on and learned a grail scene for a few fellas that yet to get a copy with first scene in it.
Been waiting for the silly thing to re-air for them.

There's others, just have to sort them as they come up. Thanx

Unfortunately, I can't enlarge the thumbnails or play the clip ... but there's nothing I can discern by squinting that would lead me to think my recollection's awry, so I think your suggestion above is fine.

It's not a matter of my happiness ... but whether we get it right. I think that's been accomplished.

You didn't cause any trouble ... sometimes it just takes a little patience and discussion to make sure an entry's accurate.

Missing Scene for Kangaroo Jack
There is another scene in the movie Kangaroo Jack (#8678) that is completely missing the description for this entry. About 40 minutes into the film, Denise Roberts (Tansy, the radio operator) is bound to a chair with wrists tied behind her back and is gagged with duct tape wrapped around her head. The scene only lasts a few seconds and includes a nice close-up of the gag.
