'Great Detective'
Record number: 8814

Title: Great Detective, The (1979)
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Unknown

Description: Episode Unknown

In this Canadian shot-on-video crime series set in the Victorian Age, Inspector Alistair Cameron tries to find a maiden's kidnappers. In a flashback scene, she's shown riding a horse carriage when she's handgagged by an unseen villain hiding in the back. She is then blindfolded and gagged.
Later, the Inspector blindfolds her and puts her in a carriage so that she can try to find out the kidnapper's route. This prompts a couple more flashback scenes of her blindfolded and gagged.

Bride of Frankenstein
The description for this movie mentions Valerie Hobson tied to a pole by a web of rope, no gag. What it didn't mention is that she actually IS seen bound & gagged earlier, if only for a moment. When the Monster carries her thru the cave & throws her onto a pile of blankets or something, we can see her hands are tied in front & she is gagged with a dark cloth stuffed into her mouth. Its a quick scene but it's there.
