Re: Get Smart entry
Re: #5160

The title is indeed "Satan Place".

And the actress is Pamela Austin.

The entry has been updated.

227 Question?
Record number: 383

Title: 227
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Jackee Harry

Description: Episode unknown

In a burglary scene, Jackee is tied and gagged. Not terribly impressive, but it is somewhat rare that this occurs in a sitcom.

Found a possible ep title,
Toyland (2.15)
Guest stars:
Terry Kiser as the burglar
Paul Reubens

Anyone confirm this? (Marlborough book?)
Thanx

Jay, Marburger's book only goes up to around '80. 227 aired much later.

I have a later work dealing with films and videos covering '75-'92. Unfortunately it stops at movies whose titles begin with "K", and I don't know that he ever completed the second volume.

#6609 "The Play Is Under Review"
Record number: 6609

Title: King of the Park Rangers
Medium: Movie Serial
Actress: Tracey Bates, Rosemary Gore

David:
This one was brought up on Discussion,
Title and actress names not in IMDB.

Closest lady, Rosa Gore passed away during the war.
Entry says recent serial.

This sound familiar to you? (Before I delete?)
Thanx

See my posting on the Discussion Page, Jay.

BTW, for whatever reason, the IMDB has not yet accepted this film as an entry. We're working on it (maybe RTT's people will have better luck than us)

Todd 3-D:
Yes, saw it,
I'll leave it be.

IMDB comment was just a shot at possible name, (Rosa or Rosemary Gore, etc.),
Recall when we were going after Asian scenes, (started with Fuzz's caps & Jarachon show)?
None of those we got sent over were in the IMDB either.
So,
Wouldn't delete on not in IMDB alone Buddy.
Thanx

Marburger, Yes Understood.:)
Thanx

Put it in with '?'.
The other 227 entry may be a bit more of a bugger

This is running right on the edge. Merely making it into
the IMDB doesn't necessarily make it eligible for our DB.

The goal is list items that may reasonably be seen on TV
or found in regular video outlets. Available only from
certain mail-order sources doesn't cut it.

My inclination right now is to take it out until the
distribution questions are fully addressed.

David, Jay, Biff, thoughts?

Jay,
I can think of several other series/movies that aren't in the IMDb, for example "The Mystery Of Edwin Drood" which starred Roger Mobley, Warren Oates and John Dehner and Short, Short Dramas (a 15 minute anthology series circa 1949), as well as Asians contributions.

The difference is -- you can catch "Edwin Drood" on the Disney Channel next week; "Short, Short Mysteries" is described in Tim Brooks' book "Complete Directory to Prime Time Network and Cable TV Shows" and Asian's films can be seen on oriental TV stations.

I don't see King of the Park Rangers having that sort of distribution, which makes me wonder it should be in the database.

Todd,
What's Rin Tin Tin got to do with the price of eggs? Did whoever owns the copywrite to Rin Tin Tin grant the right to use the character name?

I've tried to access Grapevine Video off the web, but I'm getting "not in service" error messages, so I can't figure out what kind of films they distribute.

Oops, that would be the "The Mystery of Edward Sims".

Two easy pieces (for the editors to delete) 6616&6617
Record number: 6616

Title: Wonder Woman
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Lynda Carter

Description: in trouble
Bondage

Record number: 6617

Title: Wonder Woman
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Lynda Carter

Description: in trouble
Bondage
Dential Work

This is the last two entries in there entirety. Just happened upon the KOTPR controversy and saw them.

Please repond if this actually too trivial to point out and the editors would have caught it anyway. I don't actually come over here much, so I'm not sure how it works.
Thanks

I don't check the database every day, so the more eyes checking for mistakes (and trolls) the better. Thanks for the heads-up!
