David:
We got Rose Marie & Joyce Davis for this ep.
Figure if we can confirm Joyce isn't the operator,
we possibly have the other lady?

What do you think?

Title: unknown

Actress: unknown

Description: In this unknown spy caper from the late 60's, the gorgeous european red-headed spy is caught by another spy. He promptly bounds and gags her hand and foot. He also connects the rope from her ankles to her wrists and finally around her neck. He advizes her, "if I were you, I would'nt struggle". Nice scene of the babe with tight cleave-gag, tan stockinged feet, and the look of fear that if she moves the wrong way, the rope will strangle her.

Brian R:
Believe we've been through this one before,
and deleted it?
Believe it was mistaken for It Takes A Thief, ep: The Funeral Is on Mundy last time as well?

David:
Figure I'm just going to 'delete' it again.
What do you think?
Thanx

This is already being done,
Working our way down trying to ID, but there is a lot,
so taking us abit of time here.

I wouldn't waste too much time trying to ID them. Gather
'em up, stick on Discussion, any that aren't identified
by the end of the week, can 'em.

Foreign names
I'm noticing that some of the titles and names with extended characters look funky now. I suspect that when I ftp'd the "fixed" DB file in text mode, it probably didn't do the umlauts and such correctly.

Like:

Record number: 1714

Title: Im Sog des B÷sen (1995) aka Desperate Measures; In the Flesh; Nanny's Nightmare; Undercurrent

Which in the text file on my computer is:

Record #1714
Title: Im Sog des Bösen (1995) aka Desperate Measures; In the Flesh; Nanny's Nightmare; Undercurrent

Unfortunately, I'm not sure what the best thing to do to fix it is. There are already half a meg's worth of new changes in the change log.

I'll make some searches to try and ID the problem characters, then we'll see from there.

Blech.

Jay and the editors,

I think Jay is probably right that Joyce Davis is the other damsel. IIRC, the telephone operator had no speaking role and does not appear to be credited. Ms. Davis is credited with playing the character "Valerie" who, I think (but am not 100% sure) is the woman who works for the Rose Marie character. The woman who works for Rose Marie's character is definately the other damsel.

Lastly, the correct spelling of title is:
"Two, Four, Six, For Two-Hundred"

Kojak /Cross Your Heart and Hope to Die
Record number: 3788

Title: Kojak
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Andrea Marcovicci

Description: Episode: either "Cross Your Heart and Hope to Die" or "Once More From Birdland"

Bound and gagged.
____________________________________________________________

Based on the listing of the cast and characters, and plot descriptions that I have seen on a Kojak fan site, the episode is definately "Cross Your Heart and Hope to Die" which first aired in December, 1974. In addition, IIRC, the damsel is tied and tape-gagged in a brief scene in which Kojak discovers her in her perdicament.

Got it.

My references only have credits for two female characters: Rose Marie as Mrs. Tilden and Joyce Davis as Valerie. The episode is "Two, Four, Six for Two-Hundred" (no comma after "Six". The episode number should be 2.22. As is frequently the case, the IMDb has split a two-hour special episode into 2.1 and 2.2 and all subsequent episodes are misnumbered.

Kill it with extreme prejudice.

Spot on. He then peels the tape from her lips. As I recall, she was emotionally troubled and doesn't react to the situation.

Mr. Yuck, (aka Mr Blues Fan?):
Out of curiosty?

Figure a French keyboard & re-entering would solve the problem?

Only trouble on this end,
this computer isn't mine,
and has an English (US) keyboard.

Would look into using a French one,
If you figure it would solve the problem?

"There are already half a meg's worth of new changes in the change log."

Do you mean the TV Series editing?
(Quite a few recent ones)

Is this causing you a hassle here?
