Wednesday January 23 00:36:10 2002 Perils of Pauline |
I just posted an alert for the 1947 Pearl White "biopic" starring Betty Hutton when I noticed that someone had deleted the fabled 1917 serial from the database.
What gives? |

Wednesday January 23 02:33:53 2002 Question? |
Record number: 3624 Title: Profiler Medium: TV Series Actress: Sherri Howard Description: Episode: "Film at Eleven" (1.16) Sam and the task force probe a series of ghastly murders which are carefully videotaped and sent to TV newsrooms by the vigilante slayer (Ron Kuhlman), who announces that the crimes are righteous retribution against guilty people who slip through the judicial system. When a young woman (Howard) is kidnapped and thought to still be alive the accelerated investigation narrows to former law students with strong opinions aboutcrime and punishment. _____________ David: Figure you call recall off-hand, any bondage in this ep? Just want to take a shot at it, before deleting. Thanx |

Possibly, this was copied from the alerts section on another page, such as Philly Ed's. I'm going to throw it on Discussion Page and see if we can develop more information. |

There were pictures of three scenes, one where Pearl is bound and gagged and laying on the floor in front of an idol; another where she's tied in the back of car and a third whose description eludes me. I believe I put in the database at the same time I threw in a bunch of other silent serial entries. I guess I simply thought I put it in the database, but I'da sworn on a stack of Bibles.... |

Well, grepping through the various old versions of the DB and change logs on my PC doesn't turn up a reference to anything but the 1947 version. |

Thanks for looking, Brian. I'll do my best to remember what I saw in the caps until I run across them again. |
