Record number: 995 Title: Conqueror Worm, The (1968) aka Matthew Hopkins: Witchfinder General; Witchfinder-General Medium: Movie Actress: Hira Talfrey, unknown, Maggie Kimberly, Hilary Dwyer Description: This Vincent Price vehicle about a traveling witchfinder roaming during the English Civil War starts with Talfrey being led along by her bound-in-front wrists on the way to a gibbet outside of town. About 30 minutes later Price's assistant is shown trying to slap a confession out of a young woman who sits against the wall of a dungeon cell with her hands manacled over her head. Approximately 10 minutes after that, the witchfinder presides over a trial by water with two women among the participants. They are tied hand and foot and dunked over the side of a bridge; later they are hanged after their having floated is taken as a sign of their guilt. At about 1 hour and 10 minutes, Kimberly is tied in a narrow spreadeagle position to the upper rungs of a ladder which is then propped up next to a tall cross-shaped frame near which a large fire has been built. She is executed by being slowly lowered into the flames by ropes tied to the top of the ladder and slung over the frame. In the film's final scenes about 10 minutes later, Dwyer and her husband are tied hands-over-head to horizontal bars set into a dungeon wall. Dwyer is then tortured by being repeatedly stabbed in the back with a needle, in hopes of convincing her husband to confess. Then she is laid face-down on a stone slab and it is implied that she is bound in preparation for being branded with a cross-shaped iron, but the bonds aren't shown, except for a rope around her neck. |

| @Noon & 6:00pm Space/Imagination Record number: 5159 Title: Forever Knight Medium: TV Series Actress: Tracey Cook Description: Episode: "Dying for Fame" (1.15) In one of the final scenes bound wrists in front and cleave-gagged with a pink cloth and stuffed into a cabinet. @3:00pm ShowC Record number: 4562 Title: Water Rats Medium: TV Series Actress: Brooke Satchwell, Dee Smart Description: Episode: "Silent Running" (5.27) In this Australian series, both ladies are bound hands behind and ankles together with rope. They are gagged with black duct tape. Action begins with both ladies right at the start of the episode. Dee is left behind, and squirms around on the floor with her partner Steve Bisley (in similar predicament) till they free themselves. Brooke is taken along as a hostage, and remains tied, gagged/ungagged, through most of the episode. @5:00pm ShowC Record number: 7248 Title: La Femme Nikita Medium: TV Series Actress: Alisa Wiegers Description: Episode: "Love" (1.6) Near the beginning of this episode a young couple have been grabbed by the team and we see the guy and girl (Wiegers) sitting, hands evidently tied behind, on chairs being Only brief and not a lot seen. @6:30pm CFTM Falaise De La Mort (1993) Record number: 1474 Title: Cliffhanger (1993) Medium: Movie Actress: Janine Turner Description: Handcuffed in several scenes, once overhead. @7:00pm CBLFT Anna Et Le Roi (1999) Record number: 6278 Title: Anna and the King (1999) Medium: Movie Actress: Ling Bai Description: The movie is good to watch quite apart from the bondage element, which comes in three scenes. The first is brief and somewhat confused, where we see a chained female slave wallowing in dirt. Then in the second half of the movie Lady Tuptim (played beautifully by Ling Bai) is arrested after she runs off with her lover. She is dragged before a court, barefoot and wearing a very cute light sash across her upper body which nicely highlights her nipples. On her wrists are iron fetters (in front) and she is made to kneel while the judges decide her fate. She is now shaven (in Buddhist style) but even thus Princess Tuptim is a compelling figure, especially when she speaks with passion to the court. For her trouble she is caned - with several heavy strokes across her bare back, leaving bloody weals. She is then sentenced, with her lover (who is kept all this while in an even greater degree of restraint), to be executed. The final scene sees the pair in the city square, seated legs out in front and arms tied with loops near their shoulders to rods behind their backs. The woman's hands were then brought to the front and tied together at the wrists. Meanwhile, to the horror of the English Teacher the executioner does a ritual dance with his sword about the prisoners and then - finis. This is, in fact, a true representation of the mode of execution once employed in Thailand. @10:00pm CKVR Record number: 6256 Title: Tracker Medium: TV Series Actress: Larissa Gomes Description: Episode: "Trust" (1.4) 'Tracker' is a syndicated series starring ex-Highlander Adrian Paul. In a plot rip-off of the J-Lo movie, 'The Cell,' cute brunette Larissa plays Lina, a kidnapped victim who is trapped in a glass cage which is slowly filling with water. She is seen kneeling in the cage because both her wrists are handcuffed to a metal pipe along the bottom of the structure. No gag. A video camera is broadcasting her situation to her rich daddy's computer so he is persuaded to pay the ransom. First scene occurs around the 20 min. mark. Over the next 15 minutes, there are occasional glimpses on the computer showing the water level rising. There is one additional scene where Lina is seen in the trunk of a car with some rope around her. It's extremely brief, and you really can't tell if her hands are bound. Again no gag. This is the final scene around the 45 min. mark. |

Record number: 3392 Title: Lone Ranger, The Medium: TV Series Actress: Nan Leslie Description: Episode: "Durango Kid" (3.32) Molly O'Connel (Leslie), a cute brunette, has the misfortune of rooming across the hall from Judge Scott, the man who sentenced The Durango Kid to life in prison. The Kid has escaped and while waiting for the Judge to return to his hotel, he ties Molly to a chair with her hands behind her back. The Lone Ranger and Tonto track The Kid to the Molly's room by the blood stains from his bullet wound. When they knock on the door, The Kid unties Molly and holds a gun on her while she sends the heros away. After the pair leave, for some reason, the bad guy does not retie her -- at first. Later, when ol' L.R., disguised as the judge, enters the room across the hall, The Kid ties Molly's hands behind her. He grabs a towel, rolls it into a thick band and steps behind Molly to stuff it into her mouth. For some reason Molly has decided The Kid is really her long lost brother and decides to help him get the drop on the masked man. She is released and lures the LR into a trap. When the Kid shows his true colors (as a murdering owlhoot) she distracts him and the Lone Ranger beats him to a pulp. The scenes start near the halfway point and ends about five minutes from the end of the episode. |

Batgirl is hoisted into a vat of cavier; fortunately the Caped Crusaders win the fight in time to rescue her from drowning. |
