Record number: 2399 Title: Adventures of Superman, The (1952) Medium: TV Series Actress: Joi Lansing Description: Episode: "Superman's Wife" (6.9) She's a policewoman publicly pretending to have married Superman to trap a crime ring. She gets abducted by the baddies for her trouble and winds up being led out of a car with her hands (supposedly) tied behind her, and then marched to the railing of a bridge the gang plans to blow up as an armored car passes over it. They lash her wrists together in front and tie them to the railing, leaving her ungagged and struggling as the bomb's fuse burns down. Would have been a better scene if they used more than one strand of rope to tie her wrists together; still the bondagette is curvaceous Joi Lansing! |

@7:00am Space/Imagination Record number: 4653 Title: Highlander Medium: TV Series Actress: Rochelle Redfield Description: Episode: "Black Tower" (6.6) Redheaded Margo is grabbed outside MacLeod's houseboat early on. We later see her wrists bound in front to a chair, and detective gagged with a white cloth. She's wearing a long black evening gown (with a wrap, no less) @Noon & 6:00pm Space/Imagination Record number: 3026 Title: Forever Knight Medium: TV Series Actress: Maria Del Mar, Christina Cox Description: Episode: "For I Have Sinned" (1.3) Ms. Del Mar is cleavegagged and bound to the vertical beam of a cross outside a church by a psychotic who believes he's burning a witch (or sumpin' like that). She's rescued by Nick in the ... no, I have more self-control than that. Around the 51' mark, and lasting approximately two minutes. About 28' in, she's very briefly handgagged by a masked assailant, then womanhandled and threatened with a gun before Nick does the Knight thing. I also caught a flashback scene with Christina Cox, her hair shorn, as an accused witch who suffers a fiery fate, bound to the stake. I may not have caught all of it, and what I viewed were closeups and head-and-shoulder shots just showing the bonds, nor do I know if there's more interspered throughout the ep. I believe I saw this imagery between the Del Mar scenes. |

Dick Tracy |
Day: Thursday December 12 2002 |
Time: 2:45 a.m. EST |
Channel: TCM |
The first in the series of Tracy B-movies from the 50s or thereabouts, wherein the villain Splitface ties and OTM gags Tess Trueheart, played by Anne Jeffries, and fortunately for purists *doesn't* tie up Junior. Happens near the end, just about when Tracy finds the old boat they're on. |

Record number: 4767 Title: Wild Justice (1993) Medium: TV Movie Actress: Kelly Marcel, Patricia Millardet Description: This four hour miniseries featured two BG scenes, one with Melissa Stride (Marcel) in Part 1 and the other with Magda Altman (Millardet) in Part 2. Kelly Marcel played the role of Peter Stride's (Roy Scheider) kidnapped daughter and Magda was BGed by Peter to keep her out of the way while he went after the bad guys. Ms. Marcel is handgagged during the initial kidnapping, but as I haven't seen this, I can't say when it occurs. I'm told a good bit of time passes between this and the BG scene. In between we see her bound in a photo at around the 100' mark (with commercials), when some (well, a lot) of her hair and the pic are sent to Scheider's hotel room. She later reappears in Scheider's tortured dream. She's finally seen bound and tapegagged after a chase scene. In Part 2, there's a very brief flashback of the BG scene around 70' in. The Millardet scene comes in around the 105' mark, when Scheider handgags and BGs her on a hotel bed with what appear to be terry cloth towel strips and/or robe belts. I wasn't keeping close watch, so I can't say that's everything of interest. I am certain that's all for the last scene, though. |
