Venna is handgagged in a dark corn field at about 1:12 into the movie. She is held captive in a hotel room, tied to a chair, and gagged with clear tape that is wrapped around her mouth several times. This happens at about 1:16 in. There is a shotgun at the door, rigged to go off if anyone opens it. The scene is switched back and forth to several times. Numerous close-ups and wondeful mmmppphing by Leelee make this scene a must-see, even for those who despise clear tapegags! Towards the end of the film (around 1:30), there's a brief scene where "Charlotte" (Jessica Bowman) is seen (in the cab of a truck) wearing a very tight dark-colored bandana cleave gag. Shot is from the head up with no ropes or restraints visible. |

Then he ties Lahti's hands behind her to a catwalk railing. There are several shots of Lahti's bound wrists as she struggles-ultimately successfully-to free herself. @Noon & 7:00pm HistCan Record number: 2708 Title: Tour of Duty Medium: TV Series Actress: Rosalind Chao Description: Episode: "Gray-Brown Odyssey" (1.16) Rosalind plays a VC soldier who is captured after a firefight. After being captured, she is bound hands behind back and subsequently gagged with a bandanna over the mouth. Scene last about two minutes, nice close ups. After the gag is removed, she remains bound for the remainder of the episode. @8:00pm CKVR [Originating From WUTV (FOX)- Buffalo, NY, USA] Record number: 2440 Title: Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999) Medium: Movie Actress: Heather Graham Description: Near the film's climax, Agent Felicity Shagwell (Graham) is shown standing ungagged and shackled at the wrists and waist with her arms down to her sides to a vertical panel inside a glass chamber that Dr. Evil will fill with lethal gas to divert Powers from thwarting the firing of a laser that will incinerate Washington, D. C. He opts to save the capitol rather than her, and forlornly looks upon her lifeless form hanging from the shackles afterwards, until Dr. Evil reminds him of the time machine through which they all had arrived at this meeting (the movie takes place 30 years in the past). Result: Powers travels back in time 10 minutes, and the scene is played out again, this time with the future Powers breaking the chamber and rescuing Shagwell, while the past one deals with the laser. @9:00pm TFO Record number: 4098 Title: Route de Corinthe, La (1968) aka Road to Corinth, The Medium: Movie Actress: Jean Seberg Description: Low budget European spy thriller stars Seberg as the widow of a security operative who is murdered and, when NATO radar gets jammed, suspicion falls on her. She then sets out to find the real killers and prove her innocence. Two brief, but nice scenes. In the first, she rides a donkey sidesaddle (those mini-skirts are just hell sometimes) up a hill with her wrists knotted behind her back. Later she's manacled to a mining car which is ready to sent crashing down the mountain. |

Record number: 673 Title: Grayeagle (1977) Medium: Movie Actress: Lana Wood Description: Western in which Beth Colter (Wood), a young woman living on the frontier who's been abducted by the title character, an Indian, for what turns out to be a benign purpose. About 20 minutes into the movie, he ties her hands in front with a rawhide thong after placing her on a horse. Several minutes later, after failing in an attempt to attract the attention of a passerby, she struggles with him and he wrap-gags her with a tan strip of leather or deerhide. Later she rides to another tribe's camp with him, still gagged, where they stop for the night. He ties her hands again that evening over her rather mild protests, but cuts the thong off the next night after gaining her trust. |
