Later hero Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) stumbles upon her in a Bedouin tent, cleave gagged with a sodden hankerchief, her wrists bound behind her back and around the center pole which supports the tent's roof. Indy ungags her and they have a tender reunion (he thought she was dead) but then rethinks the situation and decides to regag her much to her understandable (and vocal) dismay. Later, she is seen in the same predicament, briefly, as she tries to squirm away from one of the villians who unties her. In these scenes she's wearing slacks and a white and red patterned blouse. Towards the end of the film, Marion and Indy are tied to a stake back to back while the Nazis prepare to open the Ark. The ropes, curiously, tie their left wrists to the corresponding right one of their partner. When the spirits of the Ark are released, they destroy the Nazis and burn through the heroes bindings, leaving them unscathed. In the latter scene, Marion is wearing a white satin cocktail dress. |

| @10:40pm TFC Record number: 1103 Title: Earth Girls Are Easy (1989) Medium: Movie Actress: Diane Stilwell Description: At the hospital, Geena Davis' character needs to borrow a nurse's uniform so she can sneak in to the operating room where her two-timing hubby is about to perform surgery. She threatens a bespectacled nurse (Ms. Stilwell) with a gun (really a water pistol), handgags her, and forces her into another patient's room where she is ordered to strip. A patient in the next bed is bandaged from head to toe and is unable (more like unwilling) to heed the nurse's plea for help. We next see Ms. Davis applying a small strip of semi-transparent tape over the nurse's mouth, her lips visible through the gag. You don't actually see her being tied up but is implied because her hands appear to be behind her back. The scene is very brief and only shows the frontal view of the nurse from her waist up while still wearing her bra. There is also a brief mmmph when the tape is applied. Don't blink or you'll miss the entire scene, which occurs in the last 30 minutes. |

When he resists their plans, they trick his fiancee, Virginia Elston (Patrick) into driving to an abandoned shack, so they can use her for leverage. Tonto attempts to prevent the kidnapping but is shot. When the faithful Indian companion refuses to reveal the Lone Ranger's whereabouts, they bind Virginia to a chair, cleave gag her with a thick rolled bandanna and threaten to torture her starting with a potful of hot coffee poured in her lap. The Lone Ranger makes a timely appearance and rescues the good guys. He then removes Virginia's gag on-screen. Once again we see Tonto tightly bound, but it appears that Virginia is merely holding her hands behind her back. The rolled bandanna does appear to be a more effective gag than usually found in the series. |

Other features of the film are Kirklands sensual (and almost naked) dance number and Lili St. Cyr in a featured supporting role and Kim Novak as a harem girl. |

Early in the movie a young woman (Hamilton) is seen waiting at a bus stop. A big guy comes up to her and grabs her, forcing her into a car, after he snaps some handcuffs onto her wrists (in front). On the video box the false advertisers have shown a cloth gag being tied around the girl's face. But no! The idiot abductor just stuffs a handkerchief into her mouth which, of course, she could easily spit out at any time. He then proceeds not to gag her but blindfold her. Why? She's already seen him so what's the point? Anyway, he stops the car later and rapes her (more-or-less offscreen) dumping her out of the car to find her way home. Someone should give movie directors a crash course in proper bondage! And yes, Meredith Baxter, as the titular character, wins in the end. |
