Anyway, having expressed a fondness for the old movie serials, they leave Lois, dressed in a prim blue suit, roped to railroad tracks and wrap-gagged with a pale blue cloth. She puts up a nice struggle-especially in the moments after the first sound of the train's whistle. |

Record number: 5827 Title: Blind Obsession (2001) Medium: Movie Actress: Megan Gallagher Description: Rebecca Rose (Gallagher) runs afoul of her maniacal sister, who is jealous of her and her blind boyfriend. In the final 30 minutes, Rebecca is knocked out by said sister (Roxana Zal). The scene begins with a close-up of Gallager awakening and finding herself bound to a chair. Her wrists are crossed and secured with duct tape behind her back and her feet (she is wearing black boots) are also taped together. There is much dialogue between the sisters, including a demand by Rebecca to "untie me now!". Gallagher is eventually tape gagged. There is plenty of "mmmphing" and two close-ups of her bound wrists. When the boyfriend turns up looking for her, the sister gags her with more tape to keep her silent. She scoots her chair to a radiator and there are several side views of her sawing the tape against metal to free herself. She eventually takes the tape off her feet and mouth and is briefly shown with tape still clinging to her wrists while rushing to rescue her boyfriend. Rebecca is wearing a deep V-neck shirt, black pants and the aforementioned boots. |

A decent close-up and some mmmphing. @1:00am CKVR Record number: 3208 Title: Knight Rider Medium: TV Series Actress: Alice Backes Description: Episode: "Knight of the Chameleon" (3.11) Michael poses as a mercenary to flush out the Chameleon, a ruthless criminal who is a master of disguise. Along the way, an unknown actress gets tied up briefly. @11:00am Space/Imagination Record number: 4362 Title: Lost World, The Medium: TV Series Actress: Jennifer O'Dell Description: Episode: "Trophies" (2.11) Captured by a fortune hunter, Veronica (O'Dell) spends most of the last half hour wth her hands tied behind her back and with a giant metal scissor-like collar locked around her neck. No gag. The collar is at the end of a long metal pole which her captors use to lead her around by walking behind her and pushing her forward. A couple of closeups of her bound hands. @3:30pm CFTM Le Retour de Batman (1992) Record number: 167 Title: Batman Returns (1992) Medium: Movie Actress: Cristi Conaway Description: The snow queen ends up bound to a chair and gagged in a very brief scene around the 65' mark (with commercials). @6:00pm Space/Imagination Record number: 6256 Title: Tracker Medium: TV Series Actress: Larissa Gomes Description: Episode: "Trust" (1.4) 'Tracker' is a syndicated series starring ex-Highlander Adrian Paul. In a plot rip-off of the J-Lo movie, 'The Cell,' cute brunette Larissa plays Lina, a kidnapped victim who is trapped in a glass cage which is slowly filling with water. She is seen kneeling in the cage because both her wrists are handcuffed to a metal pipe along the bottom of the structure. No gag. A video camera is broadcasting her situation to her rich daddy's computer so he is persuaded to pay the ransom. First scene occurs around the 20 min. mark. Over the next 15 minutes, there are occasional glimpses on the computer showing the water level rising. There is one additional scene where Lina is seen in the trunk of a car with some rope around her. It's extremely brief, and you really can't tell if her hands are bound. Again no gag. This is the final scene around the 45 min. mark. @7:00pm CKVR Record number: 3131 Title: Lost World, The Medium: TV Series Actress: Jennifer O'Dell, Rachel Blakely, Anja Coleby, Lara Cox Description: Episode: "Amazons" (2.2) In the last half one of our male lost world friends has tied an Anja to a headboard and Rachel Blakely comes in and finishes the job, gagging her with a cloth stuffed in the mouth, then teases I didn't know you were into this kind of stuff. Next the other male Lost Worlder is in bed with two blond twins when Jennifer O'Dell walks in a gags Lara and gives him rope to tie up the other (IIRC, she isn't actually seen tied up. He is going through the motions and she is just below the screen). Finally, Jennifer, Rachel and all the Lost Worlders are tied to stakes about to be burned. @7:00pm CBC (Possible?) Nancy Drew movie originating out of the US is airing. Recall some posts on Discussion, may want to keep an eye on it. @9:00pm HistCan Record number: 286 Title: Three Days Of The Condor (1975) Medium: Movie Actress: Faye Dunaway Description: Tied up for a while and briefly gagged, in the middle half of the movie, with several pairs of stockings. Versions of the film usually aired on British TV are the same, but the first cut I ever saw (also on TV) had a scene in which Redford started by saying, "I need your car." He proceeded to tie her up against her protestations, and just before he gagged her, she said, "This is not fair!" There were several almost-closeups of her face being gagged and struggling as Redford left. The order of scenes is also changed in subsequent versions; the original sequence made the narrative much clearer. @9:00pm Space/Imagination (Possible?) Highlander (1986) Hear of a scene at the end of this movie, but nothing in DB. Tape at own risk here. |

I'm not sure if this is airing outside of the SF Bay area ... check locals. My notes have the scene popping around the 100' mark in the AMC airing (before ads were shown). This is a two-hour presentation, so to be safe I'd be paying attention after the halfway mark. . |

Several minutes later she's shown tied to a chair and gagged, sans her maid's uniform which Rogers had donned to slip past the Germans. |

Record number: 3597 Title: Rocky Mountain Mystery, A (1935) aka Fighting Westerner, The Medium: Movie Actress: Ann Sheridan Description: Early Randolph Scott western. Randy plays a mining engineer who teams with a aging deputy sheriff to solve a series of murders. Rita Ballard (Sheridan, in one of her first roles) discovers the baddies have made a secret radium strike, is captured, bound and gagged. About 20 minutes from the end she's abducted, unfortunately all we see is the mysterious figure approaching. About ten minutes later the hero hears her screaming. Now we see a shot from about as far away as the director could manage of the baddie hurrying her out of a cave and into the nearby factory. She's gagged over the mouth, but screaming. Go figure. At this point she doesn't seem to be tied. By the time he gets to the factory her hands appear to be tied behind her, but we're so far away it's hard to tell. Inside the factory we still get a shot from the other side of the room. The hero shows up and jumps the bad guy, blocking our view in the process, as she gets shoved through a doorway. The fight goes on forever, during which we get one (1) quick shot of Ms. S lying against the wall, tied and gagged. |
