Record number: 6540 Title: Lowball (1997) Medium: Movie Actress: Amber Smith Description: This movie is a low-budget kidnap thriller based around a revenge-against-the-cop plot. Paula (Smith), the cop's sister, is kidnapped by the bad guys. She is taken to a warehouse-like place where she appears in a number of scenes spread throughout the movie. Scenes: 1. Dressed in a pretty white tennis outfit (skirt alert), she is picking up her mail from her curbside mailbox when she is chloroformed by the bad guys and dragged to their car. 2. She is next seen bound and gagged. Her wrists are bound to a chair. The bad guy reaches down inside her blouse while he talks to her brother the cop informing him that he has his sister. 3. Leather wrist cuff strapped to a chair and being manhandled by the bad guy via a leather slave collar around her neck, a dominatrix-type shoots her up with drugs. 4. Chained up in a warehouse-like place, chains coming down from some kind of ceiling fixture to the metal rings on her slave collar and wrist cuffs while the bad guy sits coolly discussing her situation. She is still dressed in her tennis outfit though her tennis sneakers and socks have now been removed. 5. Similar situation as number 4 but now the dominatrix has placed some kind of bondage mask on her face and rips her tennis outfit apart. Full frontal nudity though the scene is shot in a long distance slow panning shot that moves around support columns. Could have been a great scene. Maybe worth searching for the cutting room floor outtakes. 6. Situation similar to Scene 5. although now the damsel is dressed in black panties and a black vest that ends just below her nipples. The dominatrix wields a whip but never smacks her with it and pulls Paula's face towards her and licks it. Downsides: 1. It is implied that at some point between the chloro scene and the first bondage, the bad guy roughed her up some around the eyes. 2. Her legs are never shown restrained. 3. Personally I'm not a big fan of the shoot-her-up-with-drugs type scenes though the neck collar manhandling in that particular scene isn't too bad. |

Record number: 3379 Title: Profiler Medium: TV Series Actress: Charlotte Ayanna Description: Episode: "Cravings" (3.2) The plot involves a serial killer who abducts brides-to-be. At around the 35' mark, Ms. Ayanna is shown bound on a bed -- ankles wrapped with duct tape, wrists crossed and taped in front -- and tapegagged. Her face is garishly made up, and she's wearing bikini underwear provided by her abductor, a frustrated former front man for a band. He forces her to listen to blaring rock through headphones. He ungags her at one point, to torment her into saying "Make I take your order, sir?" (she works at "Fat Boy"). He then regags her and leaves. The scene lasts roughly a couple of minutes. Around the 50' mark, she's back in her Fat Boy uniform, ungagged with her wrists taped in front, as the killer pulls her through in the woods. She's rescued in the nick of time. |

One of the best spreadeagles on screen. The hero procedes to have consensual sex with her. @4:00pm CITY Record number: 5886 Title: First Wave Medium: TV Series Actress: April Telek Description: Episode: "Black Box" (3.19) Gibson (Telek) is initially captured around the 25 minute mark, is first restrained around the 35 minute mark, and the restraint lasts, interwoven with the rest of the story, until nearly the 50 minute mark. There is at least one closeup on the bindings on her hands. No gag, though. |

Record number: 5777 Title: Schatz im Silbersee, Der (1962) aka Treasure of Silver Lake, The Medium: Movie Actress: Karin Dor Description: The lovely brunette Ellen Patterson (Dor) spends most of this German-made western with her wrists tied behind her back. We rarely get a good shot of her bonds, but's she quite an appealing damsel. About half an hour into the film, Ellen and an older gent are captured by bandits led by the nasty Colonel Brinkley (Herbert Lom). The pair are bound with their wrists behind stakes driven into the ground and are seated on the ground with legs extended in front. Brinkley wants to exchange them for the missing half of a map to the titutlar treasure. Over the next five minutes the scenes alternate between the fort where the settlers are led by hero Old Shatterhand (Lex Barker), the thugs and the prisoners. Shatterhand and Fred Engel (Gotz George) rescue the pair. Somewhat later, Ellen is separated from Shatterhand's men and captured by Brinkley. She's is imprisoned in a cell in the bad guys' adobe fort. Engel decides that the only way to rescue her is to lead the owlhoots to the treasure and hope that Shatterhand can ambush the bad guys. For the next twenty minutes we get a series of shots of Ellen behind led on horseback with her wrists tied behind her back and seated with her back against trees and rocks, etc. About an hour and twenty minutes in, Engel manages to slip his bonds, unties Ellen (this almost ten precious seconds, she must have been realistically bound) and throttles a guard. The pair slip into the lake and try to escape, but are recaptured. They are then bound, with hands behind their backs to a large tree; plenty of additional rope are wrapped around their bodies and throats. Before Brinkley and three thugs paddle across the lake to the treasure site, he tells the remaining owlhoots that, if he doesn't return in three hours, to hang Engel. He adds, "I don't care what you do to the girl!" Three hours later and Brinkley's band does not return. (They've killed each other or fallen into the trap guarding the treasure). The bandits drag Engel to a noose dangling from a tree branch and force the still bound Ellen to watch as he is executed. Shatterhand, his friends and friendly Indians arrive in time to affect a rescue, of course. Ellen wears a plaid linen blouse and a fringed buckskin skirt for the latter portion of the film. After aborted escape through the lake, her clothes cling all the more tightly to her lovely body. |

Record number: 68 Title: Gilligan's Island Medium: TV Series Actress: Dawn Wells, Tina Louise, Natalie Schafer Description: Episode: "How to Be a Hero" (1.24) Gilligan is depressed over his failure to rescue Mary Ann from drowning-- the Skipper saves them both. Later, Gilligan sees a headhunter on the island, but no one believes him. However, the other castaways decide to disguise the Skipper as a headhunter and allow him to "capture" them so that Gilligan can become a hero. Unfortunately, Gilligan overhears the plan. Meanwhile, the real headhunter captures Mary Ann, Ginger and the Professor. The Howells find the threesome tied hand and foot to stakes. Frond (!) gags cover their mouths, and despite mmpphing for all they're worth, they are unable to warn the millionaire and his wife that the headhunter is behind them. It's a brief scene, but it features a long shot of the three of them-- Mary Ann is wearing her trademark short shorts, and Ginger is wearing a form-fitting dress fashioned from some item from the Minnow ("S.S. MINNOW" is prominently displayed on the skirt) in the background. In a later scene, two more stakes have been added, and Gilligan discovers the five captives tied up. The Howells have not been gagged, but they are unable to convice Gilligan that this situation is anything other than a trick. The real headhunter returns, and Gilligan "plays along" in a mock fight scene. During the shenanigans, there is a close-up of Mary Ann, and several shots in which she is prominently featured, writhing at the stake. (Ginger remains only in long shots.) Finally, the Skipper (disguised as a headhunter) shows up, and Gilligan realizes the truth in time to send his foe into a handy campfire. After everyone has been untied, Mary Ann can be seen holding a loop of the rope. This is from the first season of black-and-white episodes, subsequently colorized, and begins around the fifteen-minute mark. |

Record number: 819 Title: Bound (1996) Medium: Movie Actress: Gina Gershon, Jennifer Tilly Description: Tilly is the frustrated wife of a low-level mobster, and Gershon is her new-found lesbian girlfriend; together they hatch a plot to make off with a stash of the mob's money. Gershon is shown in three brief precursor scenes, bound hand and foot and cleave-gagged on the floor of a closet. The first is during the film's opening credits, the second about 40 minutes in and the third at the beginning of the main bondage sequence about 20 minutes from the end. When Tilly's husband figures her and Gershon out, he knocks both unconscious in respective struggles and ties each with her ankles together and her hands behind her back. He lays Gershon on the floor before him, and places Tilly in a chair. When he leaves the room for a moment, Tilly slides onto the floor to try and help Gershon, but before she can, he returns with a pair of tin snips, gags Tilly with a thick knotted cleave, and threatens to cut off her fingers one at a time unless Gershon tells him where the money is. Then his door buzzer sounds, and, after again knocking Gershon out, he carries her-now also cleave-gagged as in the precursor scenes-into the closet, then lifts Tilly over his shoulder to carry her into the bathroom, where he lays her on the floor with her back propped up against a wall. After he convinces her to help him hide the situation from the mob enforcers on their way up to the apartment, there is a shot of Tilly untying her ankles. Once the gangsters leave, Tilly runs for it, and while her husband chases her, Gershon manages to open the closet doors and writhe over to where he left the tin snips, which she uses to escape. |

| A minor scene, but the only time in her entire career June Allyson was in any restraint, at least on screen. Unfortunately a bit late in her career, but at least quite a while before the Depends era. A minor spoiler, but it's only a TV movie: she turns out to be the perp, and at the end of the movie is led out in handcuffs. |

| West Coast Alert
One of the features this week is a woman who wants to reproduce a Balinese rope corset ceremony, in which her torso is tightly bound with rope by her boyfriend. Looks to me like a coupla Goths having a little fun and getting paid for it. Not sure if it counts as real bondage, as I don't believe her hands are tied, but it's fun. Gags? Sorry, though her chest is bound so tightly I don't think she could produce a lot of sound. |
