Record number: 5214 Title: Lost World, The Medium: TV Series Actress: Jennifer O'Dell, Rachel Blakely Description: Episode: "Survivors" (2.18) In the last half hour the entire cast (males included) is knocked out and bound and gagged in a cave. The scene begins with a wide shot of them all laid out on the ground, hands tied behind their backs. We first see an unconscious "Marguerite" (Rachel Blakely) who is cleave gagged. Unfortuately there's no closeup of Rachel and it's a blink and you miss it scene and hard to see. Then the camera pans to "Roxton" and "Veronica" (Jennifer O'Dell) who are struggling to free themselves. He manages to pull a knife from O'Dell's belt and cut her hands free. Then we are treated to an excellent closeup of O'Dell cleave gagged. It's quick and somewhat dark but she looks great. She leaves her gag on while she unties her feet. When we next see Blakely she's just been untied but the gag is still hanging around her neck. |

(3.14) Lois is captured by Tempus, who perils her the oldfashioned way: her hands are bound behind, she's blindfolded, and placed on a precarious ledge of a tall building (the kind her main squeeze likes to leap). This occurs around the 30 minute mark. A false step, and she plummets, which she proceeds to do. Gravity being what it is, all looks lost, until . . . Clark saves her, only it's not Clark. Well, it *is*, but see . . . (Did I mention this takes place in a parallel dimension?) Later, around 45' in, one of Tempus' goons holds her arms from behind, and there's video of the above scene to boot. |

She winds up being pursued by a mob. She takes refuge in a loft where she's accosted and handgagged several times by a madman. She kills the madman but is caught by the police. There follow several nice shots of her wearing heavy iron manacles, including some closeups as she looks out of the barred windows of a paddy wagon. She's later sent to her father's house, where' she still wears the iron manacles for a time. There's a final scene at the end of them movie of her in a cell and wearing manacles. He kidnaps her and takes her to a vacationing neighbor's apartment, leaving her tied to the bed and gagged with white medical tape. He is trying to wean her off heroin, and they fall in love, of course, while she makes several attempts to escape, even retying and gagging herself when she hears him come back. When her sister finds her, Abril isn't all that anxious to leave, prompting the sister to say "You've fallen in love with your kidnapper? I suppose you like being tied up?" Abril just shrugs. As a fringe benefit to some of us, there are lingering closeups of the captive's bare feet. |
