Record number: 23 Title: Rookies, The Medium: TV Series Actress: Lynne Marta Description: Episode: "Time is the Fire" (1.6) Still maybe the longest TV bondage sequence in terms of screen time. Marta, playing a blonde high school student, is kidnapped by janitor William Windom. He has her tied and gagged with a white cloth that sometimes is between her teeth and sometimes over her mouth. She is bound and gagged in an abandoned restaurant, a school auditorium, the back of a trailer and finally, the metal stairs at the top of an old power plant. She is a meek and scared captive. Sometimes the school scene, where she sits gagged in the front row while her kidnapper does a vaudeville act, is cut from reruns. |

| This is the unedited version of the film which includes additional footage of Jo Ann Harris gagged that did not make ito the home video version. Database entry incorrectly lists only Ms. Harris as being gagged. I recall the black woman (Moore?) being knocked out and having a white handkerchief stuffed in her mouth. After she regains consciousness, the villian orders her to leave the gag alone as he proceeds to cut off her dress.
*Note both victims are gagged, but not tied up. |

Record number: 1879 Title: Act of Vengeance (1974) aka Rape Squad Medium: Movie Actress: Jo Ann Harris, Lisa Moore Description: After a few minutes into the movie, Jo Ann Harris is pursued and seeks refuge in an abandoned barn, but is grabbed and cleave-gagged on-screen with a red scarf by her rapist. (The following rape scene seems to be heavily cut in some versions.) Harris turns vigilante and founds a 'Rape Squad' together with other victims. Towards the end of the movie a black girl, member of the squad, falls into the clutches of the rapist. She's locked into a zoo cage and used as a chained bait. Be warned: Movie's subject could be offending to some. |

There is at least one closeup on the bindings on her hands. She's been taken captive by a serial cop killer and temporarily blinded with eye drops so he can use her as bait for the police. When an officer responds, he finds her tied standing with her hands behind her head to the front of a forklift. The killer attacks as he starts towards her. Later in the episode, Harras, playing the wife of one of the cast regulars, is grabbed by the killer, who dilates her eyes as well and duct-tapes her to a chair in the warehouse. Neither victim is gagged. _________ @Noon Space/Imagination Record number: 2188 Title: Xena: Warrior Princess Medium: TV Series Actress: Kate Hodge Description: Episode: "Death in Chains" (1.9) Chained by her wrists to the arms of a heavy wooden chair and also has chains crossing her chest to bind her even more securely. Diana is wearing a maid uniform. Close up of her sawing on the ropes with a knife, provided by the mutt. _________ @8:00pm CFTM (Possible?) Appears CFTM is having that phone in vote competition here. Two movies offered: Beethoven 2 Arsenal de Pointe Arsenal de Pointe = US Title Hollow Point Record number: 948 Title: Hollow Point (1995) Medium: Movie Actress: Tia Carrere Description: She's an FBI agent who has her hands tied behind her, then tied to a rope running from the ceiling of an open shed, around which the baddies spread gasoline and threaten to light a match to elicit information from her partner. _______ @9:00pm TFC Record number: 1625 Title: Dragonslayer (1981) Medium: Movie Actress: Yolanda Vazquez (credited as Yolande Palfrey), Chloe Salaman Description: The king has made a bargain with a dragon; he'll provide virgins if the dragon leaves his kingdom alone. In the picture's opening sequense, the Victim (Vazquez) has her wrists chained overhead to a stake. After a desperate struggle, the Victim slips out of the manacles (the bloody wounds on her wrist are frightenly realistic) and flees, but Vermithrax Pejorative (that's the dragon) tracks her down and turns her into a crispy critter (off screen). Near the end of the movie, Princess Elspeth (Salaman) volunteers to be the next dragon-victim. Her wrists are chained overhead to a stake; she passively awaits her doom. When the hero (Peter McNichol) comes to her rescue and slices her chains, she walks into the dragon's lair and is slain by baby dragons (off screen, thank goodness). |
