Slow-paced with lots of battle scenes, which I always fast-forward through. Much more interesting the episode where the evil Brits unjustly condemn Wallace's girl, Murron (played by Catherine McCormack) to a swift death. She is grabbed and tied to a post. A bit of speechifying by the nasty and a slice across her throat and she's written out of the story. |

Record number: 1599 Title: X-Files, The Medium: TV Series Actress: Gillian Anderson Description: Episode: "Orison" (7.7) In the last fifteen minutes or so of this sequel to "Irresistible", Scully (Anderson) is grabbed in her house by the escaped serial killer from the previous episode. Wearing pajamas and fuzzy slippers, she's thrown to the floor and has her hands bound behind her with what appears to be a scarf (the sequence, for the most part is very dark and it's often hard to see what's going on) and is then hand-gagged before the camera cuts away. When it comes back to her, the killer is dragging her, now rather tightly cleave-gagged with a thin cloth strip, into a closet, from which she escapes by turning the doorknob with her bound hands. Then she slithers along the floor, occasionally pausing to hide from the killer as he passes through the room. Eventually she manages to slip her hands over her feet (a brief shot of her ankles suggests they aren't bound) to bring them in front. |

You don't get to see two bad guys gloat over one damsel too often. She is later is "rescued" by another man. Still strapped to the table she says, "Oh, thank you sir. Another few minutes and I would have told him everything I know." To which the non-hero replies, "Yesss. Well, now you can tell me!" . . . drip . . drip . . . drip . . . |

About halfway through the episode we see a couple of quick shots of her lying on her side in a car trunk, her leather-cuffed hands chained above her to the trunk lid's hinge, and silenced with a red rubber ball gag. Although the scene is very brief, it's notable as one of the rare uses of a ball gag on series telelevision. |

One of Roz's hands is cuffed to the staircase while the cop searches the house for Frank O'Brien (Dennis Leary). Later, both of her hands are cuffed in front, while O'Brien searches the house. She acts very playfully with the cuffs while asking the officer to remove them. Nothing special, but it's Sandra. The sexy leatherclad Ta'Ra (d'Abo) is an alien medical officer who fled a monster that destroyed her spacecraft and is now trapped on Earth. She assists her "cousin", a police officer, solve earthbound crimes, plus destroying a occasional space alien. In one unknown episode, the alien's laser gadgetry doesn't prevent her from being bound in a spreadeagle on top of a table in a wax museum. Unlike the 1933 Mystery of the Wax Museum and it's remake, Maryam does not get rescued; the molten wax pours all over her, turning her into a lovely exhibit. Of course, since she's an alien, this is only a temporary inconvenience. |
