Wearing a short red skirt, and white arctic boots. @1:00pm HistCan Record number: 299 Title: Von Ryan's Express (1965) Medium: Movie Actress: Raffaella Carra Description: World War II prison escape flick. The American and British prisoners take over a train moving them from one prison camp to another. The shapely brunette is captured, along with her German General lover. Every time the train stops to take on fuel or water, she (and guy) are bound hand and foot and detective gagged with tan cloths in one of the rooms in the caboose. Several excellent scenes of struggling, as they try to escape. It starts about an hour into the film (no commercials) and last for about thirty minutes. |

| This epic doesn't have much to recommend it except that watching Ashley Laurence in it made me think that she could have been cast as Betty Page...err...Well, she could've made a stab at it.

By any name, it isn't much of a movie, but it does have a thoroughly delectible Asheley Laurence in some pretty unsatisfying bondage. About 60 minutes in [no commercials], she's nabbed in her back yard while hanging out the laundry. Over the next 10 minutes, there are several scenes of her held captive in the villains' lair. Unfortunately, all that is visible is the top half of her body with one wrist lashed to an iron bedpost. No gag. She does do a bit of emoting and wears a very nice ruffled blouse. |
