| Are there any good scenes where a damsel, perhaps because she's insane, is strapped and gagged to one of these chairs that doctors used back in the day? No ghosts or clanking chains, but plenty of secret passages, hidden rooms and malevolent relatives after an inheritance populate this olde English manor house. Near the end, a great scene. Dressed in a slip, Annabelle West (Carol Lynley) is seated in a chair, her bare feet shackled to a bar secured to an eyebolt in the floor and her wrists shackled to the sides of the chair, gagged with a thin strip of white adhesive tape. The bad guys are about ready to dispatch the blonde cutie with knives when the hero comes to the rescue.
