I know this is based on a true story but were there any scenes in it though? |

It was an in-house song promo with a bunch of quick hits on the storyline, "so and so breaks up, blah, blah, everyone gets bound and gagged." Now I recorded the next episode but it was preempted by [a presidential speech]. I recorded that damn show all summer hoping that rerun would hit and it never did. Eventually found it on the Internet a few years later and Lifetime eventually picked up the reruns. Too bad it wasn't just Sofia and Lea, and maybe Amy Pietz, who was the one who found the group B&G. Credit to Leah Thompson for turning her head toward the camera right before the scene cut. https://i.imgur.com/SfbVUcl.jpg |

At least she got the gag years later in "Deadly Spa". For this Caroline scene, I like the way she teases Sofia before she ungags her. |

I would assume that it’s something that’s been lost, but I would be interested in seeing that, especially if it’s a woman/women singing the song. |
Monday August 02 12:44:21 2021 Long chair-tied scenes |
I was wondering if there are any other movies/shows like the movie Faithful (1996)? Long chair-tied scene that goes on in a slow burn instead of being scenes of peril. It's been a while I've seen anything that. I guess it will most likely be comedies that serve this niche. |

I didn't save the promo since it was just a distant shot and pretty worthless. On same subject, I have kept two promos in DID chasing: Heather Locklear in "Bloodsport" and Kathy Ireland in "Gridlock." Both knockout promos, with the Heather Locklear one being especially great, with the voiceover guy saying "Hooker tries to avert a terrorist plot that makes everyone expendable." Cut to Heather B&G at the exact moment the words "expendable" are spoken. The "Gridlock" promo was just a music montage of scenes with the finish being Kathy B&G with the gun placed her her chin and her wide eyes opening to perfection. https://i.imgur.com/xszeXKv.png https://i.imgur.com/iqZURtY.png |

When you say Putz-fest are you saying that all the damsel scenes have putz mixed in with them or that there are no damsel bondage scenes, just putz bondage scenes? |

Monday August 02 20:08:19 2021 Re: Unusual Promos |
Sometimes we have promos to thank for us discovering so many great DID scenes in the first place. I remember the excitement when the promo for The One That Got Away from Rookie Blue aired that showed Missy Peregrym gagged with duct tape and the anticipation for that scene. Did that scene ever deliver or what when it actually aired. |

Monday August 02 23:06:46 2021 Re: Unusual Promos |
About 10 years ago there was a METV promo where various scenes of accidents from the Television shows on the network were shown. The Paramedics from Emergency were then seen dispatched. One of them has Wonder Woman (Lynda Carter) sprayed with sleep perfume in the Baroness episode, and the announcer "Station 51, Superhero knocked out with sleep gas" |

Monday August 02 23:58:47 2021 The Lost Symbol on Peacock |
Peacock just announced the premiere for their series adaptation of Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol. Its the third story (chronologically) in the Robert Langdon series, and the direct sequel to the Da Vinci Code. The book has a scene for the female lead, played here in the show by Valorie Curry. While the movie adaptation of Angels & Demons cut out the full treatment scene that was in the books, I think we're more than likely going to get a scene this time around since the story doesn't need to be cut to under 2 hours. Should be in the later part of the season if they stick to the story. Series debuts on Peacock September 16th |
