| This little-known British film has been recently released on Bluray after being mostly forgotten for half a century. I'd never heard of it but as a lifelong fan of Jenny Agutter(since Logan's Run)was keen to check this thriller out. Jenny in her beautiful prime plays a character who suspects her adopted brother is a serial killer targeting women in her area. A good suspense film and Jenny is in dire peril towards the end but...sadly no bondage. Had the perfect set-up for a great scene too. Such a shame Jenny never got the full in the 1970's she was one of the most beautiful actresses of that era. Worth checking out regardless. |

| Recall seeing that film at the time and thinking a full treatment scene for Jenny was definitely going to occur at some point, only for the climactic scene to sort of fizzle out with no bondage whatsoever. Shame as many males of my generation would have been infatuated with Jenny. Another disappointing film that came out around the same time was And Soon The Darkness. Two nubile ladies that definitely should have gotten something -but again, nothing. Thought the remake 40 years later would fix that. Amber Heard and Odette Yustman what a dream team! At least they were bound in their film, blindfolded too. But no gags, tragically. |

| Just shows how rare great bondage scenes are in mainstream films and television. The majority of most films, including thrillers and horrors, simply have no scenes whatsoever. Hopefully there'll be a good to great f/t scene for Freida Pinto in Intrusion(released next Wed on Netflix). It's been a mostly disappointing year for scenes imho, with a lot of potentially good scenes being brief let-downs. This could be another one. Shouldn't get too excited about a barely-seen half-second obscured trailer shot but you've gotta have hope that at least one scene this year will fully deliver, in terms of length and quality. |

| I was thinking...occasionally the subject of super tight cleave gagged damsels comes up and invariably the first one that always seems to come to mind is Honor Blackman in "The Avengers". In fact, any discussion of the scene is generally accompanied by the words "one of the tightest cleave gags you'll ever see in mainstream TV & movies", and there is definitely something to that. Others that pop up in these discussions are usually Marlene Dauden in "Combat Killers' and Lyn Peters' scene in "Daniel Boone". However, one that seems to usually escape mention, probably because it's a bit obscure, is Merry Anders in "When the Clock Strikes" from 1961. Now that is one tight cleave gag, probably made to appear more so because it's fairly thin and you can really see it pulling the edges of her mouth back (along with a bit of dampness from drool, never a bad thing!). I always thought it a bit unusual in part because it's an older black & white film from a period where most gagged damsels still seemed to sport good old OTMs or detective gags (although cleaves and tape were around also, just not as commonplace as now!).
