| It's more than I expected for sure. Moreso with the trend in the entertainment industry of trying not to portray women as victims and put them in a classical scenario where they have to be rescued. It honestly kind of shocked me. |

Yeah, this was the image they used in the promo clip when it aired the week before the movie aired on NBC. I remember seeing Kathy Ireland on Jay Leno talking about the movie a few weeks before it aired and she said "we were running from the bad guys" and I thought wow, could we get a scene with Kathy. https://i.imgur.com/2k7GV0l.png |

| New movie on Lifetime tonight opens with flashback sequence of the heroine Maggie (played here by Alyssa Luna) hogtied and cleave-gagged with a black cloth in the clutches of a serial killer she escapes from. Next scene has the character now played by Lindsay Hartley leading a lecture describing her escape from the killer known as the butcher for his hogtying his victims before he stabs them. |

Also, about an hour and twenty minutes in w/ commercials, a police detective played by Colleen Elizabeth Miller is hogtied, but not gagged, in a short scene. |
