Only gripe is she never used a truly distressed expression during the scene. She emotes with her eyebrows a ton during her scenes with Thor but for some reason not here. Still a great scene. Tessa did a great job selling the scene though! |

Definitely not a bad scene. Here's to hoping we can get some good production footage of it being filmed in full color when it hits Blu-ray and 4K. |
Saturday July 09 06:16:21 2022 Captor wins |
What are some scenes that end with the captor/captors "winning", not including the ones where the damsel gets killed. So basically where she for example gets released, but only after captor/captors have achieved their goal. Ransom gets paid etc.. Thanks. |

> What are some scenes that end with the captor/captors "winning", not including the ones where the damsel gets killed. So basically where she for example gets released, but only after captor/captors have achieved their goal. Ransom gets paid etc.. ~~~~ 1) Victoria Abril in "Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down! (1989). B-actress does indeed fall in love with her kidnapper (Antonio Banderas), and accepts his offer to ride with him to his family's farm where he wants to raise their family. 2) Faye Dunaway in "Three Days of the Condor" (1975). Ends up assisting her captor (Robert Redford), who claims to be a low-level CIA employee on the run. 3) Teri Polo in "Taken for Ransom" (2013). Her alcoholic downward spiral is interrupted by her kidnapping. 4) Lindy Booth in "Trapped by My Father's Killer" (2020). Grudgingly, becomes convinced that her captor's claim of being framed is likely not only true, but also the real culprit was someone her father knew and trusted. Takeaways: A) It helps to be the "Good guy". B) It helps if you look like Antonio Banderas or Robert Redford. |

I doubt that Natalie Portman was ever really gagged. It must have been fun watching her pretend to be in front of a green screen. |

Michelle loosens her tape gag and spits out the wadding, only to have the bad guy come in and replace it. Her frustration over her situation was priceless. |
Saturday July 09 08:07:29 2022 Re: Captor wins |
Best example I've seen is Red Canyon. Captor totally wins. Christine Lakin is knocked out at the end of the film and wakes up tied spread-eagle to a bed and cleave gagged with a tight knotted cloth. She remains that way till the end of the film. Captor looked like he had no plans to ever release her. She could still be bound to this day lol. Same with Suziey Block in indie film Entrance. Very securely bound(including taped fingers)and wonderfully gagged with a cloth-filled stocking cleave. Film ends with her captor ranting on while she stares(still bound & gagged)over the night skyline. Captor victorious! |
Saturday July 09 08:28:25 2022 Raised By Wolves |
Finally getting around to watching this rather excellent Ridley Scott dystopian scifi series. Wasn't expecting bondage at all but the Season 1 ep.7 "Faces" did have a couple of scenes. The attractive(albeit rather androgynous-looking female android known as Mother(played by Danish Amanda Collin)is captured by religious zealots and bound in a standing rope spread-eagle with her feet off the ground in a rough hut. No gag. Later in the episode she's rebound on a sled with criss-crossing ropes and dragged along the ground for some distance. She's briefly hand-gagged during this scene also. Amanda's hair is very short but she is wearing a form-fitting lycra-type outfit which conforms to her cute butt rather nicely. Don't know if there are any further scenes in Season 2; maybe someone has seen the entire series(it's currently in hiatus, possibly cancelled). Worth watching overall. |

Saturday July 09 11:32:51 2022 Blindfolded (and gagged) damsels |
I noticed that lately there are a lot of blindfold scenes mainly in Asian movies and TV series (Korean, Chinese), a significant number of very good scenes every year. Much more than in Western or even Turkish films and TV shows. And the bondage itself is often much more brutal than you would see in a Western or Turkish movie or TV series. For example, such as in the Korean movie "Idol" (2019). What do you think is the reason for this trend? |
Saturday July 09 12:56:20 2022 Only Murders in the Building |
From the Season 1 brief gag scene with Selena Gomez, it appears as though there is deleted footage now circulating. I'm not sure if this was on a DVD or what, but on one of the hub sites (search Selena Gomez to find it), there is a scene in the van after the initial gag scene. Unfortunately, when it starts, Selena has her gag down and starts talking with Martin Short. She has her hands free to have pulled down the gag, but she doesn't pull down her blindfold, lol. The next scene starts with the original broadcast as they are led out of the van. Overall, nothing to really see here except Selena talking with the blindfold on. |

See Alerts On my top ten list all these years later for sure, featuring one of the most perfect DiDs ever, imo. I can remember her other tie-up on that show, where a villain told his henchman to tie up the girls, and Deanna demurely put her hands behind her back - before the dumb dork decided to tie them in front. |

That one is also a good entry for the "Damsel frustration" topic that was posted a couple of days ago. Valerie, talking through her cleave, convinces a guy helping her captor to ungag her, and is well on the way to getting him to release her when the psycho shows up again. Sorry, Val! Not really.) |
