Title: Nakark Kaew aka Na Kok Kaew aka Glass Mask (2018)
Medium: TV Series
Actress: (Nat) Aniporn Chalermburanawong aka Aniporn Chalerrmburanawong, (Maprang) Alrisa Kunkwaeng

Description: Episode: 22-23 (Episode 12 in some syndication, see notes)

This scene from Thailand delivers double damsels, a bevy of closeups, about seven total minutes of capture and damsel time and some crocodile peril. It starts when the statuesque Natda (Nat, a former Thai Miss Universe pageant winner) walks out of building and seems surprised to see a woman in a car about 35:30 into Episode 22 of this Thailand offering. You might say she's shocked, because the woman tazes Natda and puts her in the car's backseat. Just then, Dr. Kwan (Maprang) leaves a building and sees the captor running around to the front of the car. She runs over to see what's happening and sees Natda, out cold in the back. Kwan then joins Natda with a zap to her back. The police find the car at 41 minutes, but our crafty captor has switched vehicles. Near the 42-minute mark, she opens the trunk to reveal Natda and Kwan awake, with their hands bound behind their backs and cleave-gagged with white cloths. She injects Natda with something to make her pass out but Kwan stays awake.

We get a trunk-closed shot of them out cold and then both awake again when the villainess opens the trunk near the 47th minute. She pulls out Natda, wearing bellbottom-style jeans, and throws her to the ground, and here we notice Natda's ankles looked tied together, while Kwan pleads through her gag. After she says her piece, the captor shuts the trunk. She turns to Natda, cuts a pair of black zipties around her ankles, points a gun at her and orders her to get moving. The rest of the episode features Natda's forced march. Natda does resist a bit by body-ramming the villainess during the walk. But as she's running away, the captor fires a warning shot. Natda stops and takes a gun-hand smack upside the face from our villainess. Meanwhile, Kwan is discovered in the trunk by one of the cops, and she mmmphhs and gag talks to get his attention and get free. Closeups of her being ungagged as well as the black zipties being cut from her ankles and hands. The closing piece of the episode shows Natda her fate -- croc bait. The crazy captor has taken Natda to croc-infested waters. Natda, who has a scratch on her face from the earlier encounter, demurs and gets another gun smack upside the head. She seems to be giving her the choice of a bullet or go to the crocs. Just then, three men arrive. Our villainess seems stunned. Fade to black.

Scene obviously continues right at the start of the next episode. The men try to talk our villainess out of her misdeeds. During this, Natda rams her one more times, throws her off balance, and one of the cops grabs her while the other men close in on the villainess.

Note: When tracking these episodes, they sometimes get repackaged into smaller, or longer, episodes. So episode numbers and time codes can change. A repackaging of this show has put this scene in Episode 12 as well.

In Kid West the mother played by Rose Montondo gets asked by the corrupt sherriff if he can borrow a rag to fix a leak in his truck. She finds one but without knowing that this is actually her future gag and he just wants the rag to gag her.

Can picture Nicole Eggert saying "All I have here are my mother's scarves..."

Me too! 100%. Or the gun-toting Amazon held her at gunpoint while searching for materials and settled on the scarves. Nicole barely looks phased when she's actually in a death trap so I imagine she'd be kinda passive.

Interesting too that the woman chose to bind her in a way that used 5 scarves instead of 3.

She's Not Your Daughter
Did anything pop up on Thursday night's LMN movie "She's Not Your Daughter"? There was talk of a scene or a possible scenario a couple weeks ago.
I assume nothing but also I know sometimes these slip thru the radar.
Unfortunately I totally forgot about it till now!

I can think of a movie where a captor asks his victim for something with which to gag her. In Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!, Antonio Banderas asks Victoria Abril whether she has any tape. She is seen bound and gagged in the subsequent scene.

The scene on General Hospital last year:
“Do you have any rope in the back?”
“Rope? What do you want rope for?”
“What do you think? Just go get it. And some duct tape.”

If I were to novelize this particular episode, I would have the gunwoman say something on the lines of "Your boyfriend accidently took some diamonds I smuggled into the country. I'll take them and be on me way. But I can't have you calling the cops two minutes after I'm. If you let me tie you up and gag you, I won't hurt you and be long gone when you Mom comes home."

Of course, tall blonde and deadly had no intention of keeping that promise, but it would have kept Summer at ease.

I just remembered a scene from a movie where a villain asks for bondage material, but not rope. In Ulee's Gold, the villain, an armored car robber, asks the protagonist, played by Peter Fonda, whether he has any duct tape. Peter Fonda's reply is "You bet." In the subsequent scene, three actresses, including the smoking hot Jessica Biel, are bound and gagged with duct tape.
