What you see on the cover is pretty much what you'll get in the movie and it's the only scene there is. However, Anne Dorval (lead actress) has a couple more scenes in the soap spoof "Le coeur a ses raisons" where she plays twin sisters, including a chloro scene and another one where she's chairtied (as 2 different characters)

What happened to the scenes?
No mention in the database. The season has ended. Did the scenes happen?

Re: Goodnight mommy
Can we take a moment to appreciate what a great PERFORMANCE Watts puts on? I don't think she looks her best, in that she's not dolled up & her beautiful face is all marked up from whatever happened earlier in the flick, but wow she does go for it! No half-hearted squirming to look helpless for the sake of it, but an all-out effort to shift that bed & make damn some noise.

And what noise! I always says it, but there are few things I find more satisfying in a mainstream scene (if we're talking practicalities, not aesthetics) than a damsel putting a mouth-filling gag to the test by screaming as LOUD as she goddamn can. That, followed by her determined & almost rhythmic mmpphhing as she shuffles the bed across the floor.......I can't put it into words how sexy that sounds.

It gets my vote for scene of the year. All props to an undisputed damsel queen!

Naomi Watts is one of my favourite damsels of all time. Not only she was and still is very beautiful but she is also an amazing actress. She knows how to perform in every scene and when we talk about damsel scenes she defintely knows how to act. Hope she gets other scenes

Embarrassing capture
Maybe a bit vague request but what are some instances where the whole fact that the damsel gets herself captured is pretty embarrassing? Meaning it's a situation where you would think she should be able to handle herself.

Do you have an example so maybe we could understand what you mean?

Which scene was better - Naomi's or Marilyn Burns in Eaten Alive? (very similar scenarios)

I guess something like Patricia Isaac in Republic of Doyle as she was an armed detective and the other girl was unarmed and in handcuffs but still managed to subdue her.

The best example, even the actress admits it!

Suzanne Somers in She's the Sheriff (say that three times fast!)

She's supposed to be guarding a diamond or something and the thief steals it and leaves her bound and gagged in the closet. Would be an amazing scene but her over-the-top acting (trying to be funny) is pretty bad.

Actually I have a theory. She acts so over-the-top to shield herself personally from the humiliation her character experiences. I.e. acting unrealistically to remind everyone it didn't really happen

Eva LaRue in CSI: Miami. Caught snooping and forced to remove her belt and it's used to tie her hands as the crazy Alicia Witt taunts her.

Possibly not what you had in mind, but I enjoyed the "Desperate Housewives" episode where Eva Longoria was wanting to have sex and let her husband tie her hands to the headboard, after which he simply left the room. Not gagged, but still nice, especially since she was sexily clad.

LOL, later the same season, when Eva finally gets the gag, she lectures college students about being careful on campus, then gets kidnapped walking to her car!

Probably the best shot we'll get to see Eva gagged. Of course, she should have said "I'll scream all night unless you untie me' and then he comes back and tapes her mouth.

Scene was lame, but really could have been awesome with better camerawork. Suzanne chlorformed in a sexy blue dress with lots of clevage and stashed in the closet. But only distant shots of her gagged in the closet before she's released.

Sasha Alexander in NCIS. She's a trained agent whose only job at the moment as protecting some kid from his fugitive father. The father shows up, easily disarms her and ties her up.
