The actor who played her captor was named Richard Burgi, and he usually plays wisecracking types, regardless of whether they're heroes or villains. He may have become overconfident and made some egregious errors after Vanessa Marcil had been his captive for a while, but he was overall a competent captor. He incapacitated her, and then bound and gagged her quite securely with duct tape. He successfully concealed her in a trunk and smuggled her out of the hotel and onto a private jet. They were airborne before he began making mistakes out of overconfidence. I don't recall every detail of the story, but I'm sure he taunted her while she was bound and gagged. He also taunted Cheryl Ladd when she was bound and gagged in an episode of of One West Waikiki. |

I know that earlier in the year with the Lifetime movie "The Wrong Blind Date", Meredith Thomas and Sofia Masson posted a picture on Instagram of them in an ADR booth and there was an image of them cleave gagged from the movie on the screen. They however weren't sporting gags in the booth and were most likely just providing sound effects without them. |

Ok thats a strange scene that I don't have many details but I will write whatever I rememeber. US movie with somewhat famous actors, must be around late 90s or early 2000s, I think it was an adventure period or something and a blonde woman has been captured along with a male or some males characters by some sort of tribe or something and they are all bound in a really unique way, each of them is stuffed in a wooden box and their heads is the only part that it is outside of the box. Don't remember anything else. Rings any bells to anyone? |

There's probably been some instances of actresses being re-gagged during ADR sessions, and I have to wonder if they're re-gagged with the same gag they sported in the production or a different one. I'd imagine the majority of the time re-gagging isn't necessary for ADR and just simply making gagged noises suffices most of the time, as it's not difficult to simply keep your mouth closed and mmmppphhh as much as you can until the work is done. |

I don't know whether this counts as an answer to the question, but Isla Fisher voiced a female character who is bound and gagged in an animated film called Rango. For verisimilitude, she was actually gagged with a red bandana when her character had to make noises through her gag. Title: Rango (2011) Medium: Movie Actress: Animated (voiced by Isla Fisher) Description: She is the voice of Beans a female Iguana the becomes Rango's friend. In the final standoff with the bad guys she is taken and she is cleave gagged with a red bandana, at first she is tied up, later she is seen untied but remains gagged, despite being able to she makes no attempt to free her mouth. This film used an unusual procedure for an animated movie, and had the actors performing as if they were the characters. Isla was gagged with a red bandanna OTM while recording her role, and video of her was widely broadcast during the movie's marketing campaign. |
