Saturday November 19 08:15:02 2022 Teasing the damsel |
What are some good scenes where the hero doesn't untie the damsel right away, sort of taunts her, or even just leaves her like that? Examples: Roger Moore/Shirley Eaton on the episode Invitation to Danger of the Saint; Indy Jones and Karen Allen; Richard Burgi/ Cheryl Ladd on the episode Manpower of One West Waikki Way. |

Saturday November 19 12:07:49 2022 Yalniz Kurt bummer and Emanet 462 |
Last night's episode of Yalniz Kurt with Jessica May was a total bummer. I mean the chloroform scene is pretty great, so for those that like that kind of thing it might be worth checking out. But she wakes up in a confined cell, unbound. Preview of next episode suggests that the situation won't improve for us, but we'll see next friday. Meanwhile preview of tonight's episode of other turkish series Emanet suggests there might be something for actress Nanuka Stambolishvili She's held at gunpoint after being defeated by a thug. Emanet produced scenes in the past so fingers crossed |

Super gorgeous Ipek Arkan cheated the gag like 4 times... |

In just past year or so we've had Tamara Braun, Lauren Koslow, Nadia Bjorlin, Mary-Beth Evans (with added packing), Isabel Durant, Lauren Koslow (again), Mary-Beth Evans (again!), & Deidre Hall all cleave gagged with black cloth (well, Deidre's was a mess of an Over-the-Nose but still...). Even with the past couple guys who got gagged, the black cloth came out. The DOOL prop department must really have an abundance of black cloth material hanging around! haha! |

Saturday November 19 20:28:07 2022 Rescuers neglect to release Damsel |
The discussion of taunting a B&G damsel has caused me to do a post I've been considering- scenes a person or person come across a DiD and somehow get sidetracked. There are two examples I can think off. First, the short lived 70's sitcom "Detective School" A student of said school (Jo Ann Harris) suspects strange goings on across the street from the school (IIRC)She mentions it, but nobody believes her, so she makes a look during a break, gets caught and ends up B&G. The instructor and classmates worry and investigate the find her. but the instructor and her would-be love interest talk, but don't free her. Second, is a Prudential commercial from 1979 or 80, a guy comes home to find the place rasnsacked and his wife B&G. He goes on about the merits of a Prudential policy and in the stinger at the end he asks the still B&G wife "Why didn't you call?" |

I don’t normally remember scenes with no gag fondly but this one was pretty funny. The 2 “rescuers” just start talking to each other until she says “uh, guys!” Then the sequence continues with them saying the knots look complicated and asking what her captor did to her to get her up there, causing her to get frustrated with their ineptitude. Record number: 14986 Title: Psych Medium: TV Series Actress: Franka Potente Description: Episode: "One, Maybe Two, Ways Out" (5.09) At the end of the episode, Franka is interrogated by a rogue agent. She is suspended by her ankles and her hands are tied behind her back. After the cops come to the rescue, she has to remind the two idiot "heroes" to help her get down. |
