In this episode, a group of terrorists armed with explosives storm a hotel and take an American female swim team hostage. The scene lasts the entire second half of the episode, from 22mins to 44mins. There are altogether twelve girls in the swim team, but never do we see every one of them in the same shot during the scene; six or eight at the most. Their hands are bound behind their backs with white zipties, and they are each gagged with a wide strip of grey gaffer tape; this all took place offscreen. No mmpphhing or struggling whatsoever until the closing stages of the scene, at 40mins, when the SWAT team burst in and apprehend the terrorists without any bloodshed. In this sequence we hear some muffled squeals and mmpphhing, but only one of the damsels is shown being freed and ungagged onscreen. Everyone is then ordered to exit the building except Sarah, the brave swim team leader whom earlier said to one of her captors, "Don't touch me, bastard" (albeit in a distinctly non-American accent.......) She has to stay back because a grenade has been securely gaffer taped to her hands, which are still ziptied behind her back, so the SWAT team leader elects to carry out a daring rescue himself. Sarah now starts mmpphhing quite frantically, but then calms down. The tape is first slowly peeled off her mouth, after which she is instructed to keep still and breathe steadily. The SWAT team leader uses a pair of pliers to cut her hands free from the bonds, at which point the grenade falls to the floor and detonates. Both survive. All times based on the DVD release. Editor Note: Only one actress ID verified so far, per IMDb. The other eleven remain unnamed as of 2015. Guessing they will waterboarded, then hooded. Hopefully, Vanessa is gagged before and after the waterboarding. And I know Danielle Ruah gets a lot of hopes up for a scene, but that babe in the Muslim outfit needs a scene in the worst way. |

| After the previous episode where Kousetsu under mindcontrol eliminated the mother of the clan leader. She is later rope gagged and bound till her friend and his uncle interrogate her where they reveal big revelations and ultimate find out that she did not deliberately want to kill the mother. | About halfway through episode three, the woman being held hostage in the basement pleads with David Tennant not to gag her. ("Don't gag me", or variation of, three times.) A few minutes later, playing his wife separately, suggests, "You should gag me." (Variation of same, twice.) Unfortunately, the wife, so far in my viewing, doesn't accept her suggestion. |
