Pretty great scene, I've been waiting for her to get the gag for oh, so long. Plus, I enjoyed the two-way conversation between the two people in the car! |

Uh, yeah, a decent scene, but about a "6" for me. They showed the bonds, and they looked okay and were behind the back, but really this sort of thing should be rather ordinary. Not anything I'm going to remember a few weeks from now. |
Monday November 07 06:47:54 2022 title of a television program |
I would like to know whether a certain television program features any scenes with bound and gagged actresses, but I unfortunately don't recall its title. I'd like to describe it in this post and see whether anyone who peruses this online forum knows its title. It's about lifeguards and first responders in a California beach town, and no, it isn't Baywatch. It aired a few years ago, sometime during the previous decade, between 2014-2018, by my estimate. I don't recall the names of any actors or actresses on the show but do remember that its theme song was "Summer", by Calvin Harris. The reason I'm asking this question is because I'm hoping that show will be like Baywatch and have at least a few episodes featuring bound and gagged actresses. I'd like to be able to research it on the Scene Database. |

Outside of actually talking about doing so, I can't see how this could be improved on. Yes, I was disappointed by the killing of the nanny, but that was to show how ruthless the kidnappers were. Interestingly, this episode ran the same day the H&I network ran two episode that are well liked by the folks on this site: Linda Carter in the "Wonder Woman" episode "Hot Wheels" and Noelle Neil tied to the railroad tracks in the legendary episode "The Perils of Superman" |

After watching the clip on the video page, I think she was gagged so that she wouldn't have to speak because the baddie could recognize the voice of the person she was supposed to be. So the gag was actually important to the plot and gave her an excuse to remain silent for a while. Yeah, it would've been great to hear the good guys plan this beforehand: "As soon as they hear her voice, they'll know it's not her." "So how do we conceal her voice?" "You could put a gag in my mouth. I know you've all been wanting to do that for a while now." XD |
Monday November 07 12:06:37 2022 Blue Bloods - "Homefront" |
Very brief scene in this week's new episode of Blue Bloods on CBS, episode titled "Homefront." In last ten minutes, two female cops hear whimpering from behind closed apartment door, they enter and find kidnapped woman on bed, gagged with tape, her hands bound behind her back. Ungagged immediately, a couple shots of her tied up while the cops fight with kidnapper. Actress is Isabella Pisacane. |

"Yeah, maybe similar to Kate Winslet in "David Gale" telling her partner "we've got to tape her up" for the reenacment idea, and when the partner says they can't do that to the girl in the room, Winslet says something like "OK, I'll do it myself" and procedes to cuff and gag herself. In this one, I was hoping for some gag talk when the two were alone in the car and the other agent says the guy approching was not the guy they were expecting. We just get Shantel turning her head, wish she "mmmfffffed" "who is it?" |

It was still a lovely scene, and I have been waiting for the lovely Shantel to be gagged ever since the One Tree Hill days, but I definitely wish that there was a little more gag talk from her. It would have upped it from a 6 to a 9 for me. Oh well, beggars can’t be choosers when it comes to the rare mainstream television scene these days! |

Monday November 07 16:34:10 2022 Directing themselves into bondage |
In reading about the film "Don't Worry Darling" it appears Olivia Wilde (the director) was originally going to cast herself as the main character before deciding on someone younger (Florence Pugh). The character had a couple of very brief scenes in hospital restraints with one featuring a biteguard for shock treatment (the usual leather cuffed to bed), mainly for completetists but I digress.... I wondered if there were other female directed and acted films where the director/actress featured herself tied up or in other types of bondage with restraints. I know there have been a couple with the writer/actress tied up but I couldn't think of any directors. |

Sarah Smick directed (and wrote) her own hog-tie, tape gagged scene in Friended to Death. Laura Prepon also directed the classic, lengthy Orange is the New Black scene of her, Taylor Schilling and others taped up and gagged (with her and Schilling wearing nothing but shower curtains). There's even a video interview with her being interviewed where she talks about the difficulties of directing when your hands, feet and mouth are taped! |

In last night's episode Jennifer Finnigan character Lidia is kidnapped with her hands taped in front and a hood on. She's quickly released when its revealed it was her friends who kidnapped her for some sort of intervention. I did some digging and found that the scene actually aired in the episode from 2 weeks ago. Towards the end of the episode, Lidia (Jennifer Finnigan) and blonde Crystal (Erin Darke) our captured at gun point by a crazy guy. After bringing the two blondes inside and some talking from them, the man zipties their wrists and cleave gags Lidia in particular with a beige cloth since she wouldn't stop talking. Unfortunately, Crystal isn't gagged with her and after some gag talking and back and forth from Lidia, Crystal manages to get a hold of the gun and force the man to release them. All in all, a nice little scene that's mostly played for laughs. I'll post an edit of it on the video page soon. |
