Tuesday October 04 08:35:25 2022 Avarice (2022) |
Just skimmed through this movie. Mother played by Gillian Alexy and daughter played by Tea Heathcote-Marks get captured during a home invasion at around 26min. They both have their hands ziptied in front and they are also gagged with silver tape just like in the trailer. They stay like this for some minutes. During those minutes there is the typical psycho bad guy who intimidates the bound mother. When the bad guy leaves for some seconds, the mother removes her gag and then when returns she regags herself. After some minutes they manage to escape and they get captured again at around 1hour into the movie. The daughter has now hands ziptied in front again but the mother gets her hands ziptied behind her back (onscreen) but there are no gags this time. The bad guys leave the mother there and take the daughter with them, so she releases her hands and at the end and eventually saves both her daughter and her husband who have been captured by the bad guys. Nice scene with plenty of close ups (mostly from Gilian Alexy) but so stupid that they tie their hands in front, here are some caps https://imgur.com/a/yJvB5s0 |
Tuesday October 04 08:55:23 2022 Yargi 38 |
Promo for episode 38 of turkish series Yargi shows at the end that the beautiful lead Pinar Deniz, who plays a lawyer or DA assistant or something, gets kidnapped by means of chloroform. It might lead to something very good or it might just be a big disappointment. I always skim trough every new episode in hopes for a scene for the lead or for the also beautiful Basak Gumulcinelioglu, who plays a judge. We'll see next sunday evening when the episode will be out if it will be nothing or goodness or something in between. |

Tuesday October 04 10:07:56 2022 Accepting the gag |
Searching for scenes where the damsel knows she's about to be gagged or re-gagged and can't do anything about it so she ends up just willingly opening her mouth and accepts it. Similar to Gemma Arterton in Alice Creed or Sasha Alexander in NCIS. Thank you. |

They're both in the spy game; she understands that he's showing her some "professional courtesy" by not killing her outright (plus he likes the beautiful agent). |

Alexy is a flipping knockout and wow does she look good gagged, with some nice anger stares at the bad guy. |

Lynsey Baxter in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, a scene I quite like in which after being ungagged to have some food, she refuses it and says "I'd like my gag back, please.", which happily for her and for us, she gets. |
Tuesday October 04 14:55:20 2022 Frustrating episode |
I am watching Mannix third season, and yesterday I saw one episode which so much potential that came to nothing that I just had to post about it. in A Penny for the Peep Show (3.6) both Gail Fisher and guest star Sabrina Scharf could have been bound and gagged at least once (and up to three times in the case of Scharf), but we got nothing except for a short handgag for Scharf. Three tugs invade Mannix's office while Scharf is there hiring here, and they decide to spend the night there as they say they are on the run. Of course the two damsels should have been bound and gagged to stop them from causing trouble, but they are just left completely free other than menacing with a gun from time to time. Next, Scharf is taken to her apartment by a bad guy to retirve over $300,000 dollars in cash to pay for their freedom. Is she tied up in her appartment so he can escape once he has the money? wrong again, he takes her back to Mannix completely unbound and of course, she eventually escapes. Finally, after the plot evolves and we have some revelations, Scharf is kidnapped again and taken to the bad guys lair, once again, she is not tied up in any way, forget about a good gag, not even her wirsts are tied in front. After Mannix appears to save the day, she is left under the watchful eye of a thug, which is once away happy to just keep an eye of her not restrainig her in any way. The episode was actually fun and worth watching, but from the DID point of view it has so much wasted potential that it is just a crying shame. Worst of all, Sabrina Scharf is actually quite beautiful, and after checking for her here at our database I saw she didn't had any bondage scene in her career, so this was probably her only chance. |

Still, a very incompetent captor (especially compared with a scene like I.T.) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2679552/mediaviewer/rm1552261121/ |

This could have easily been scene of the year. Best-looking mother/daughter combo since I.T.(and one of the few examples, this trope is a rarity these days). But, the hands in front was so unnecessary, leading to effortless and instantaneous escapes. Even hands behind wasn't a problem for the mom. They should have followed I.T.'s stellar example. Especially Stephanie Cameron's multiple zipties. Zip hogties would have been even better! But the plot needed the mom to escape so there it is. Nice gags though. |

Similar to Gemma Arterton in Alice Creed or > Sasha Alexander in NCIS. Thank you. The easiest example is Lynsey Baxter in Young Indiana Jones asking for her gag back after chit-chatting with Indy. Another one is the recent Mare of Easttown scene where the damsel is handed her gag and then gags herself, complying with everything at that point. Also popular on here recently is the Bettina scene from the German crime show In Gefahr. The woman opens up when he places the cloth in front of her mouth. And in Crime of Passion, Jessie Gold is sort of told to open up her mouth and she does and even sort of appears to bite down, with this happening almost as soon as they cut to the scene. Her sister on the show and in real life, Tracey, already was gagged at that point. |

When they cut to the scene, the bad guy says "open wide" and when she does he says "thata girl." |

Jessie Gold only had about 5 credits in her brief acting career, unlike big sister Tracey. The third Gold sister (Missy) was on "Benson" for many years before quitting acting to be a therapist. I believe Jessie and Tracey both were gagged in the No8 campaign as well. |
