I told him they wouldn’t have actually been tied > and gagged on set but he refused to believe me lol Or... maybe, like me, they watched the movie & the making-of documentary on Disney+ (in which they briefly used a few seconds of gagged footage directly from the movie with the FX) and STILL can't tell if they were "actually" gagged. My best guess is some sort of black cloth WAS tied in place as a reference for the FX. Use the proper stretchy fabric & the talent could put up with it for hours & lean into it to make it look tight. Surely that would be the easiest approach... but don't call me Shirley lol. |

Even without the limbless character though at 2:16 of the IGN trailer there's a shot of a girl in a poofy dress lurching forward with her arms behind her back, which looks like she's tied to something and possibly in peril. |

| One of the hub sites posted a tie-up scene for Daniela Ruah that was not too bad. Anyone know what episode or season this was from? I will add it to the DB. She's captured with her partner in a barn, and after commercial, she's tied back to back with him with no bonds visible. Incredibly, she mouths off the entire scene to the bad guy about what penalties he'll get for kidnapping two federal agents. Where his duct tape was I have no idea. https://i.imgur.com/0nvqhFj.png |
