Re: Upcoming Movie IG Story
This looks to be a low-budget indie thriller currently being filmed so won't be listed on IMDB for some time. It'll probably be released sometime next year. Eric Roberts is in it too(of course). If Meghan gets long scenes it'll be definitely worth keeping an eye out for. Shall check on it from time to time and follow its production with interest.

The Lonely Guy. Steve Martin tries to call an old girlfriend at her job at a bank and she's bound and gagged during a robbery along with some other women.

I don't know if cartoons count, but the first episode of season 3 of "Life with Louie" a cartoon based on the childhood of the late Louie Anderson had his friend/crush tied up as part of a movie he was making. I sure didn't expect that from a slice-of-life type series.

Natalie Portman says they weren’t bound in Thor
She then talked about the logistics behind the scene where Jane, Valkyrie, and Thor are tied up by vines, with Gorr chastising them. Portman revealed how “[they] were in a room that was basically just a normal room that had like black felt curtains around it,” and there were “people in blue suits running us in and out:”

“So we were in a room that was basically just a normal room that had like black felt curtains around it. And then, we were each on a platform that was on wheels and with nothing restraining us… We were just kind of fastened to this platform. It had kind of like a pole behind us that we were fastened to so that we wouldn’t fall when they moved it. And then they had people in blue suits running us in and out… and we had to pretend that we were restrained so we’d be like, ‘(mumbles) Mmmmm.’ And then they’d put everything in later. So yeah, that’s pretty wild.”

Shows targeted at a younger audience:

The Electric Company. Scene isn't in the DB but in one skit either Judy Graubart or Rita Moreno (seems to be a debate who it was) is bound and gagged in a chair when her husband comes home bragging about all his locks for security.

Also not in the DB but I believe something was posted once in the forums about this show -- Gospel Bill, a Western religious show. A giant dog dressed like a deputy, named Barkamaeus, rushes in along with Gospel Bill to untie and ungag a woman onscreen. Want to say it was a blue bandanna OTM but been so long. Not the type of show you're expecting to see a scene. That's the only one I know of from that show and no idea if there are any more scenes but it apparently had a stock villain character and it was a Western-style show. Crazy.

You were expecting a scene in that movie?

I would nominate the suspension scene that Erica Durrance had in "Smallville." She was even dressed in fetish gear! Sure made the grade for me.

Also,, the "Cleveland Abduction" Lifetime movie. The rigging on the hogtie isn't really commercial standard, but then it gets turned into a suspended hogtie, and that certainly gets your attention!

Best frustration freak-outs?
Name a good scene where a damsel is struggling, takes a break to catch her breath, then suddenly does a spastic, violent struggle against the ropes as she totally loses her cool? Gina Gershon in Palmetto and Sandra Kearns in CHIPS are great examples.

Future Lifetime Movie: Spring Break Nightmare
I've been keeping my eye on this one for a while since the premise of the movie is about a kidnapped surfer during spring break. The trailer just dropped and confirmed that there will be a scene for hottie Kalen Bull who is grabbed early in the trailer and seen through out bound and cleave gagged. Could potentially be pretty lengthy since it looks like she'll spend most of the movie kidnapped.

There's also the chance for the hot mom played by Kristi Murdoch and the sister played by Grace Patterson to get something but nothing in the trailer indicated anything for them. This movie doesn't appear to have a release date yet so will have to keep an eye out.

Looks to only be new movies on Fridays given that those 4 Thursday premieres have all already aired. Some of those Friday movies do look like they have potential given the descriptions though.

Christine Taylor in Hey Dude.

I was so happy it happened that I forgave her the fact that she was wearing that baggy ugly sweatsuit instead of her usual khaki shorts. Actually, it just occurred to me that they probably told her she was going to get tied up so wear something comfy.

No Natalie, not wild at all, just boring and disappointing.

I hate CGI; my fear is that one day they will use it in place of ropes and gags.

Raven
We all love Black Canary and Zatanna, two DC Comics superheroines who are bound and gagged often due to the fact that their powers are vocally derived and are manifest through their mouths. I read recently that Raven, another DC Comics superheroine, also possesses a vocally derived power. I haven't collected comic books in decades, so can anyone corroborate this? Is she frequently bound and gagged by supervillains who've captured her? Who are some other superheroines with vocally derived powers which are nullified by their being bound and gagged? Siryn from Marvel Comics comes to mind.

As far as I know, the early 2000's cartoon show is the only place where she needs to say that to use her powers. In the comics she uses it as a mantra and occasionally to power up, but she can definitely use her powers without saying it

I haven't read any superhero comics for almost ten years. I don't recall (at that time) that Raven had a special vocal power. She was certainly captured and bound occasionally, but I don't think gags were very frequent. Of course there was Mary Marvel, whose ability to become a superheroine depended on her ability to speak. She was gagged fairly often, sometimes because the villain was aware of her power and sometimes just as part of a thorough capture.
