| Every so often I come across a commercial scene that I feel could pass for mainstream. Just the right amount of bondage, cinematics, acting, etc. Obviously not what this site is about. But it begs the question: are there any mainstream scenes out there in the history of DID that could pass for commercial? |

Not that I know anything, and I am not Mr. Moderator, but it seems like there are many. Foreign scenes - mostly Asian and Spanish, would be some. And, going back some years, there was the Ginger (Cheri Caffaro) movies that could be either. Otherwise the reason for my post here is that in the next few days there are two scenes coming up on cable TV. The Rifleman and The A-Tean. See Alerts. |

| Cathie Shiriff on FBI Today episode Kidnapped is the most obidient damsel I've seen in television. Especially when she tells her son, "this man is our friend, just do what he says and we will be fine." the kidnapper dressed as an electrician then take the strip of tape and plece it over her mouth as she mumbles Buzzer his nickname. He then pulls her into the electric room next to the maid. Wow! what a scene. That's my most obedient damsels I've ever seen in the history of a damsel on TV. |

| It was an European scene (don't know if Turkish, russian...). A young blonde girl with short hair, a red coat and black leggings was snooping in a house. She jumps from the roof to get out but harms her leg and ends up tape gagged in a room, sat on the floor next to the bed. Her boyfriend is also tied but not gagged. |

I don't speak the language, so I'm missing some context here, but in a nutshell: a gorgeous brunette (I'll just have to call her Emma for now) is showing off her little black dress to a slightly-less-gorgeous blonde (I'll call her Eva). Eva unbuttons her own sweater ("Merci!" says Emma) and pushes Emma down on the bed. She produces a pair of black handcuffs and cuffs Emma's hands around the bed frame. She then slowly peels off Emma's black stockings, ties them around Emma's bare feet (using her teeth at one point to tighten the knots), and attaches them to the frame for a mild lower spreadeagle. Finally, she presses a strip of gray duct tape over Emma's mouth. In case you were wondering, Emma is clearly extremely turned on by all of this. But it's all a ruse, and no sooner is Emma secured than Eva turns suddenly cold and leaves the room. Emma panics and begins to mmmph and struggle fiercely. She soon manages to work one wrist out of the handcuffs, then unties her feet. The scene only runs for 2-3 minutes after editing, but it's well-acted, well-lit, and well-shot with some terrific closeups. |

I doubt this would be considered "best," however on Fantasy Island (story "The Victim") Joan Prather is forced into white slavery by her "dream man." She's about to be whipped, and she's told to put her hands through the rings, which IIRC looked for all intents and purposes to be gymnast's rings -- and she passively does. Her compliance robs us of another Joan Prather bondage scene, dammit. For those who care, the whipping is not graphically shown. What else would you expect from broadcast TV? |

| Tegen Short plays Lilly a coffee shop bartender who gets stalked by a regular. After some time of bonding, he manages to take her to his home. She comes in with a red long t-shirt and blue jeans. Things take a full 360 turn and he drugs her drink. She wakes up in the basement, tape gagged wrapped while he's filming a ransom video before he goes nuts and stops recording. Shes held there for some days and tape-gagged again when he leaves. Later he allows her to go up top to shower for a dinner that he made for her. He gets stabbed by her and she escapes. |

| Found a trailer, saw a glimpse of that tapegag. Wow! Looks like a perfect, big(!), cheek-bulgingly-tight wraparound. Tegen is beautiful too. Could be a scene of the year contender. Shame it's only a short film and not a full-length feature. Is it available online yet or is it doing the festival rounds? |

| Regulars screened at Frightfest in the UK on 29 August. We'll have to hope it's available for download somewhere at some point. Shorts can be notoriously hard to find. Seems it's a passion project for Tegen, her concept. First she did a play and then she got funding to produce a short. Good for her! Maybe she can turn it into a feature film now. Keen to see this ASAP! |

| Tegen has a couple of bts photos on her insta. If Regulars is doing the rounds of short film festivals it probably won't be released on streaming platforms etc for some time so we'll have to be patient with this. Tegen is certainly a lovely-looking lady. She's the star of The Chemical Brothers' music video "We've got to try" which is very cute. Some short films are longer than others. How long is Regulars? Does she get lengthy scenes, on-screen tying etc? |
