Re: Condor 104
No scene at all in the original book, very interesting. So the 1975 scene however brief was created for the film and now the tv series has improved the hell out of it. Nice evolution :)

Just got out of Sicario. Amazing film! But I am extremely disappointed in Isabela’s scene. I guess I shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth, but it could have been SO MUCH BETTER. First off, the scene takes place after she cuts her hair, so she basically looks like a young boy which is very disappointing right off the bat. Secondly, they wrap the duct tape around her head so many times that it is over her nose too, which I was not a fan of at all. Pretty bummer overall, if I’m being honest. Has anyone else seen it yet do we agree or disagree?

Hopefully she have a much better scene later in her career. Plenty of time left for her luckily. Perhaps even in this action version of Dora the Explorer someone mentioned.

Here’s a bit of trivia for bondage aficionados.

The comedy short that would become “Pardon My Terror” (1946) originally was written as a vehicle for The Three Stooges. However, when Curly Howard suffered a career-ending stroke during the filming of “Half-Wits Holiday” (1947), writer/director Edwards Bernds hastily re-wrote the script for the comedy duo of (Gus) Schilling & (Richard) Lane.

Later, when brother Shemp Howard signed up as the “Third Stooge”, Bernds went back to the original script, directing the Stooges in “Who Done It?” (1949), with Jules White directing its re-make “For Crimin’ Out Loud” (1956).

However, no bondage scene for the beautiful Christine McIntyre in either Stooge version because in the original script, the McIntyre character was a villainess, not a damsel.

The bottom line: If poor Curly hadn’t suffered a stroke, the lovely Christine would have had one fewer entry in our database. Interesting, yes?

P.S. Because Curly suffered his stroke mid-filming, “Half-Wits Holiday” required extensive re-editing to work around Curly’s absence in the climactic pie-fight scene. This delayed the release of “Half-Wits Holiday” until January 9, 1947. The hastily-produced “Pardon My Terror” was released on September 12, 1946.

P.P.S. Bernds later conceded that his re-written script was not a good fit for Schilling & Lane. However, because he tied up one of the most beautiful women who has ever lived, we’ll let it go.

As a kid, I couldn't wait for Saturday mornings to arrive to see what would happen to Penny on Sky King.

In the 80's, I wrote to Deanna Lund and she sent me an autographed photo. This got me on her mailing list and I received a couple more in the following years.

Re: Sicario 2
An otn wrap gag really? That's what ruined Noomi Rapace's Rupture scenes for me. Shame as I thought it'd be one of the better scenes this year. Otn's look plain silly aesthetically speaking imho but they probably have their fans too

Tau- Maika Munroe and Ivana Zivkovic
So I've skimmed through Tau, and it does have two pretty big scenes! About five minutes in Munroe starts a very long scene with the plastic, otm harness gag, at first strapped to an operating chair, barefoot, arms at sides. She's later put in a cell, plasticuffed, hands in front, and encounters Zivkovic and a putz in identical predicaments. There's attempts at speech, but the gags are pretty effective (I love that the Netflix subtitles adds "Muffled, indistinct speech" as they try to talk). They have to sit silently for a while. Munroe is eventually led back to the experiment room, strapped in again, etc. On her way out, she swipes some surgical scissors and cuts her and the others bonds back in the cell.
At 29 minutes in Munroe is secreted away in a bathroom as the captor has visitors. She's tied, hands in front to a towel rack (?), and sports a big white cleave gag. Lots of gag talk as she yells for help and kicks with her bare legs and feet to attract attention. Eventually she realises her hands are in front and pulls down her gag (the hands in front element is there only major downside, I think, though only for this scene as Munroe can't get the gag off without scissors in the first scene).
Overall, really good! Munroe is gorgeous, the gags look great, and she's very emotive throughout.

How long does she stay gagged? Does the gag change at all during the scene? Close ups, etc?

Re: Tau- Maika Munroe and Ivana Zivkovic
So much for Sicario but Tau sounds like it's on the money :). A panel and cleave for one of the most beautiful "It" girls in Hollywood? That's double-bonus bliss! Was hoping that cloth was a gag and not a blindfold and for it to be a cleave is even better. Shame about the hands in front but guess it's a plot device and she has to escape somehow. Unexpected and awesome

Re: Tau- Maika Munroe and Ivana Zivkovic
Very good scenes, instant D-I-D classic I'd say. The panel gag scene just went on and on and you saw the gag from every conceivable angle - how it was secured at the back etc. Screen-cappers will have an absolute field day with this one. Maika is sooo hot

Started my day(in my part of the world anyhow)with Katherine's scene in Condor. Ended it with Maika's scene in Tau. As Vader would say "This will be a day long remembered"....

Thanks to John Taylor who posted this on Video Page, I finally got to see this one. (My cable system isn't smart enough to have Audience channel). IMO, quit possibly the best scene I have seen in quite a while!

I don't care much for the panel gag everyone's raving about; that's an impressive cleave! My scene of the year so far. She really GOES for it.

Damn, bummed to hear there's nothing at all. Thanks for the information. Maybe in another project Neve might get a better scene.

Re: Tau- Maika Munroe and Ivana Zivkovic
Is an effective cleave that cloth has been wrapped between her lips a couple of times. The panel gag does suit her though it's different from anything we've seen in a film before and looks like it's moulded to her face is v.sexy. The scenes are a cut above the norm as she just sells it so well and looks so beautiful throughout. She has a lovely figure and is the ultimate DiD who triumphs over her tormentors. It'll be hard to beat this year for sure. Keen to see any making of featurettes on a future dvd too. Viva La Maika!

Looking for a scene...
I'm looking for a scene. I remember it's from a (maybe) crime series, the damsels was blindfolded, cleave gagged and has an earmuff (or something like this). It's a quick scene, just about 10 seconds. Any ideas?

Thanks for help guys.
