Sunday July 08 00:55:20 2018 Best Blockbuster scene? |
Recently, there have been a number of [albiet minor] scenes in big blockbuster movies (Jurassic World 2, Incredibles 2, and Ant Man 2 come to mind), and that got me thinking: what is the best scene featured in a blockbuster movie? The one that comes to mind for me is Black Widow's scene in The Avengers. |

Not sure if it counts as a blockbuster since it wasn't that big a hit back then, but Kirsten's Dunst classic Small Soldiers scene will always hold a place in my heart. Can't believe that movie turns 20 in just a few more days. |

Best thing about Naomi Watts is she's still as hot as ever. Beautifully ageless. Nice to see her get a scene again a couple of years ago but she'll never top her Funny Games remake scenes. That packing tape wraparound...still amazing. Nasty films both of them but thpse gags woah |

I waited 18 years for a female version of the Disney Aladdin scene (or close to it), and this was a far bigger film than Quest for Camelot, which I thought was as close as i'd ever get. |

I loved Quest for Camelot. Actually, I was almost tempted to include that along with Tangled but unfortunately Quest flopped at the BO. Fun fact- one of the screenwriters for Quest was David Seidler who would go on later to win an Oscar for The King's Speech. |

The Drew Barrymore scene in Charlie's Angels (2000) is another favorite of mine in this category. |

According to Box Office Mojo, the highest domestic grossing film with a full treatment scene is Deadpool (not counting the Dark Knight blinkie). |
