| Anyone know of good Croatian scenes? France has given us many brilliant scenes, including ones by Alexandra Lamy and the Delphine Cheneac/Virginie Desarnauts combo in Laura. So with the final at hand, are there any good scenes from the other finalists' nation? |

Quite a lot actually, and good ones, their soaps actually almost always involve an extended kidnapping plot which usually includes a prolonged b&g scene. I have seen a lot of them on TV(I'm from a neighboring country on the Balkans). I have tried to track them down over the years but the shows are extremely hard to find online, I've only been able to track down one scene during all my efforts. Bojana Gregoric, for example, has been both tape(this one should be available online) and otm(twice if I remember correctly) gagged over her career. |

It's basically a prime-time soap, and last night's episode had the bondage scene, uncensored nudity and enough people saying "F**" to make the people at South Park blush. I would say its worth monitoring. |

Sadly, I only remember the name of the one available online, it was "Nasa Mala Klinika (NMK)" episode 96 called "Otmica"(I'll post a link in the video page). One is in "Ponos Ratkajevih", don't know the episode though, and I can't remember the name of the show of the other one. Sorry I couldn't more helpful, all of these were years ago :/ |

| I wonder if anyone knows of anyone who played a human on a kids show, usually hosting alongside puppets or the like, that was either tied up on said show (highly dubious) or on something else. |

The thing is that now, while replying to these posts, I googled a bit, and some of these shows have popped up online on video hosting sites. Unfortunately I don't know the episode numbers and there are far too many episodes to skim through all of them to search for scenes I saw so long ago... :/ "Ljubav u zaledju", for example, had a kidnapping scene I remember rather well for the actress Jelena Veljaca(on the picture) who was tied up with rope and gagged with silver tape(along with her boyfriend), but the show has 175 episodes of 45 minutes each... the time it would take to skim through it all to find it is insane :( I also remember seeing a lot of scenes, and how they looked, but don't even know the name of the show or the actress to see if it popped up online :( |

| Hello, old friends! I’ve had a lot of time on my hands and have been exploring some of the Golden Age comic books that can be found at the Digital Comics Museum. As a result, I decided to cobble together a list of all the bound and gagged scenes of Mary Marvel—or perhaps I should say Mary Batson, her alter ego. Mary is surely the most frequently bound and gagged super heroine of all time, as her powers depend on her ability to say the magic word “Shazam!” in order to turn into Mary Marvel. Although she did not get the treatment as often as Billy Batson and nor did she receive the best gagging overall (Billy got an OTM plus stuffing in one story), that is simply because Captain Marvel appeared in more comic stories and was more popular than Mary. Mary got the gag A LOT. Black Canary and Zatanna are mere amateurs at chewing the cloth when compared to Mary. Of the 173 Fawcett comic books that feature at least one Mary Marvel story, Mary is bound and gagged in 58 of them—about 34% of the comics. There are 70 scenes in total, as some issues feature more than one story wherein Mary gets the full treatment. My lists here will focus primarily on the comics of the Fawcett years, all of which are available for free at the Digital Comics Museum. I will also list those of which I’m aware from the DC years; I have no on-line museum available to verify all of them, so I will have to rely on knowledge and memory. Researching this topic also answered some of my long-standing questions: Was Mary ever bound and gagged in her costume in the Fawcett issues, as she was on the cover of two DC issues? Did Dr. Sivana himself, instead of his daughter, Georgia, ever bind and gag Mary? (He captured all three Marvels together a couple of times, but did he ever get just Mary?) Not to offend, but I always thought there was something homoerotic in the Sivanas' eagerness to capture the Batsons and then revel in their helplessness. The rather butch Georgia would laugh and gloat over the bound and gagged Mary, frequently addressing her as “my dear” or “dearie.” What might happen if Dr. Sivana, and not Georgia, captured and silenced Mary? The comics listed in the bibliography contain bound and gagged scenes. There are probably a few non-gag scenes that, as the original gag snob, I overlooked. I also note handgag (HG) scenes and carrying (C) scenes, and offer a little commentary on what I think are exceptional, unusual, or noteworthy scenes. Unless otherwise mentioned, all of the gags are of the OTM variety, as the 1940s were also the Golden Age of the OTM. I’m posting this as well as part two tonight; over the next few days I will post parts three-six. I hope you enjoy this and find it helpful! |

| Mary Marvel appears in #9-58 of Wow Comics, a 50-issue run, and gets the full treatment in 34% (17) of the comics. With the exception of #46, she is bound and gagged in the following issues: 9 (HG), 10, 11 (HG), 18, 22 (HG), 23 (C), 24, 26, 32, 38 (HG), 39 (HG), 44, 45 (HG), 46 (HG ONLY, C, No gag), 47 (HG), 50 (HG), 51 (C), 52 (HG, C) Notes: #9: This issues marks the first time Mary says, “Shaz—mmff!” She gets tied to a chair and gagged with a white cloth stretched over her mouth and nose—a nice harbinger of things to come. #18: Mary gets a stuff gag, one of her only ones. Unfortunately Uncle Dudley is tied next to her. He eats his gag (!) and then pulls out Mary’s with his teeth. So many of the stories always depend on Mary be able to work free of her gag—or else! #23: In the opening sequence, the Dwarf ties Mary to a log at a sawmill where she will be split in two. She is also gagged with what appears to be a tape—her only tape gag in the Fawcett run. All of this is only a dream, however. Later, she is cut off and chokes on a pill thrown down her throat (“Ggggggggg!”), and what follows is the greatest of Mary’s carrying scenes. In a weakened state, she is trampled and then carried over the shoulder by the Dwarf—in her Mary Marvel costume. The artist gives her a rather shapely booty in a couple of panels, too. It is striking to see Mary Marvel in such a weakened, helpless state. #39: Mary Batson doesn’t actually get handgagged, bound, and gagged in this issue—but a look-alike does. #44: Mary and two other girls—one of whom is the annoying Freckles—get tied to chairs and gagged in this comic. #45: Mary, wearing (for her) a rather low-cut evening dress, is handgagged, tied to a chair, and gagged in this issue. #46: Silenced by another pill stuffed down her throat! No gag or ropes in this one. |
