I know the Courtney Cox scene in Scream 3 (2000) has to be pretty high up there as well.

Re: Best Blockbuster scene?
As far as the best scene goes, I'll have to agree that the one is Raiders probably takes the cake, however, Drew Barrymore's scene in Charlie's Angels holds a special place in my heart, mainly because it came completely out of the blue for me when I caught the movie at the cinema. I hadn't watched the Destiny's Child video that briefly showed her gagged face before going to the cinema, so the scene caught me completely by surprise! I really dug the whole redheaded look she was going for back then, so needless to say that the surprise was very pleasant indeed.

Actresses that you'd never think would get a DiD scene, but got one anyway.
Let's face it, we all have some celebrity crushes that we would like to see get the treatment, but we know deep in our hearts that it's probably not in the cards, but some times, the stars align just the right way and they star in a movie that's completely out of their normal "range" or they get a kinkier or wackier script. For example, I always found Anna Kendrick ridiculously cute and sexy in a special way, however I was pretty sure that I'd never see her get in a DiD situation - much less a full treatment -, mainly because she is always cast in RomComs and other sappy movies. Then "Mr. Right" came along and although her scene wasn't amazing - that tapegag was far too narrow to be realistic - it was a scene that I thought I'd never get to see...

Nashville Grab
I posted about this on the video page, but there is apparently a scene in this film not in the database entry, where two backup singers are tied up. Anyone have context or caps?

I would say Kathy Ireland would be No. 1 on my list. Before her scene in "Gridlock" she did a couple parts in bad movies, but you figured with limited acting roles, what are the odds she gets a scene?

But then one day I saw KI on the Tonight Show and she was talking about her upcoming NBC movie and she said "we were running from the bad guys" and I started to think "well, this at least has hope."

Then a couple weeks later, the trailer dropped on the Sunday before the movie was to air the following Sunday.

El Cartel de los Sapos, Season 1, (Caracol): Carolina Cuervo was tied AOH in black bra and panties in chapter 2 and 3, was interrogated and tortured with cigarette burns and whipped with a belt by her husband.

Señora Acero (Telemundo): chapter 70-71 season 1, Valentina Acosta was tied AOH in black bra and jeans, she was interrogated about the whereabouts of Sara Aguilar and as a method of torture she received blows to the back with a baseball bat, in season 3 of that same series now Litzy was interrogated, she received burns with a cigar with blows in the stomach with a baseball bat, Litzy wore a blue corset and panties of the same color, in the fourth season Priscila Avellaneda was also interrogated, she was suspended in the air and was beaten with a shovel of earth, unfortunately she died, also Ana Lucia Dominguez, Katia del Pino, Paty Pacheco were tied AOH in that same season, but the scene was not short, Carolina Miranda was interrogated, but It was tied spreadeagle.

Yup, no matter how brief that scene was, I liked it all the same.

Hopefully Mika Kunis in a couple weeks I’m her new film “the spy who dumped me”. There’s a small chance we’ll get a gag, and that would be surprising. When The Book of Eli came out, she actually did an interview where she specifically said she was avoiding “damsel in distress roles. If this pans out, it’ll be the shock of the century for me. I’m surprised she’s even doing the tie up scene.

Weird...I missed the airing of Ransom last week with Marianthi, but caught it on On Demand last night. It seems the airing I got was missing some footage....in the first scene you see Marianthi grabbed in teh background by the baddies & gagged, then you get one closeup as her girlfriend is leaving. It's not the face-on shot that Gagster posted last week, but sort of a three-quarters view close up. And there is no lamp in the background as in Gagster's pic.
The next scene with her is when the cop guy enters the cabin, they show a couple closeups of her (same 3/4 view though) and then he asks for the gag to be removed & they do. The shot in the pic that was posted never shows up!

Is it common for the repeat airings to edit footage? Granted it's probably not much but it IS curious.

The only thing I can think of is it might be because it is an international co-production between Canada, France, the US, and Germany so it isn’t being produced with solely American TV’s need for 42 minutes in mind and other countries might have less commercials or a longer time slot. Watching On Demand though, there is no 60 minute window where all commercials must fit and they often have less commercials and can generally air it however (no commercials, limited commercials, etc.) so it’s possible that the On Demand version was a few seconds longer or something to that effect. Of course, nothing impacting the overall product.

There's another scene after the trip to the bank. The negotiator and a woman come into the cabin and the woman actually cuts Marianthi free. The timestamp on my cap is at 20-26-18, (8:26:18 pm), which included the broadcast commercials. I don't know if the On Demand showings stick to the broadcast commercial schedule, but the view should be in there.
