Wednesday June 06 00:46:18 2018 Sicario 2 |
Sicario : Day Of The Soldado gets released at the end of the month. Trailer sees the stunning Isabela Moner getting a tight duct wraparound gag so hopefully a longish scene for her. Isabela's star is on the rise having been cast as a grown-up Dora The Explorer which may have possibilities too if they approach it as an action/adventure/solve a mystery-type plot. If Sicario 2 is as good as the first one it'll be a hell of a ride and an extended f/t scene for Isabela will be the cherry on top |

Pretty much any campy adventure series, if it lasts long enough, will accumulate a fair amount of DiD scenes. Using the database, we find several series that have made significant contributions to mainstream bondage history. Arrow (The CW) 45 scenes over 6 seasons (2012 - present). The series has been renewed for a seventh season, so doubtless there will be more. The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (NBC) 50 scenes over 4 seasons (1964 -1968). Doctor Who (BBC) 54 scenes over 26 seasons (1963 -1989) and 10 series (2005 present). The show is ongoing, so doubtless there will be more. The Avengers (BBC) 53 scenes over 6 seasons (1961-1969). Add to that five scenes for Joanna Lumley in The New Avengers (1976-1977) for a total of 58 (I am combining them because both series starred Patrick Macnee as John Steed). As we are considering television series only, I will not include Uma Thurmans straitjacket scene from the 1998 feature film. Now, the Law & Order franchise (NBC). I am considering the franchise as a whole because of occasional crossovers. Because the Law & Order franchise is a straight police drama, many of its bondage scenes are those brief, boring, perfunctory handcuffings of female suspects. Ho-hum. Anyway, among franchise entries with bondage scenes, it breaks down like this: Law & Order 9 scenes over 20 seasons (1990 2010). Law & Order: Special Victims Unit 43 scenes over 19 seasons (1999 present). Law & Order: Criminal Intent 15 scenes over 10 seasons (2001 2011). Law & Order: Los Angeles 2 scenes over 1 season (2010 2011). Total: 69 scenes Note: The database lists 70 scenes. One is for Law & Order: Paris. This is a non-Dick Wolf production, and therefore not canon. Note: Law & Order: Special Victims Unit has been renewed for a twentieth season, so doubtless more scenes are on the way. And there you have it. |

Will there be a quality upgrade? |

The scenes in the re-booted Dr Who have been inconsequential. The show needs to get back to more traditional action/adventure storylines to facilitate scenes rather than the often bizaare storylines favored post 2005 which don't present any opportunities whatsoever. Although with a female Doctor and two male companions I can't see anything changing now...at least Jodie Whittaker is attractive and they didn't go with a 70yr old female Dr thankfully |

Yeah I expect nothing from Doctor Who anymore even less so now. The sex change is an unnecessary gimmick doesn't feel right is like making James Bond female. Give me the Seventies Tom Baker Era anyday. Great writing which produced wonderful Damsel scenarios almost every story even if it didn't lead directly to bondage. One beautiful companion after another - the incomparable Sarah Jane, Leela, the two Romanas...modern Who is a shadow of its former self IMHO |

1970's Dr Who certainly helped create my lifelong fascination with D-i-D's. Sarah Jane Smith was forever getting tied up and her big otm in The Masque Of Mandragora gave me an abiding admiration for... big otm's lol. And Leela's tight cleave scene added to the pulpy brilliance of The Talons Of Weng Chiang mwahaha. The two beautiful Romanas sadly weren't gagged on-screen but their characters did receive gags in the novelizations of two of their adventures. Mary Tamm's Romana was otm gagged in the Power Of Kroll novel and lovely Lalla Ward's character was described as "choking" on a tight cleave in the novelization of The Creature From The Pit. So very happy memories from both screen and print Seventies Who :) |

I should have thought of some of those long running series that produced many scenes. Others, like Law & Order, I never watched, figuring if there was any scene on them they were probably just of the "blink & you missed it" variety. |
