Title: Republic of Doyle Episode: "The Common Wealth" (4.6) Original airdate: February 17, 2013 Synopsis: Constable Monica Hayward (Patricia Isaac) is in an isolated interrogation room with art thief Natalie Hurst (Romina D'Ugo), whose hands are cuffed in front of her. Natalie surreptitiously picks the locks on her cuffs, then gets the jump on Monica, taking her sidearm away from her. At gunpoint, Natalie orders Monica to stay quiet and remove her clothing. Natalie, you see, plans to wear Monica’s clothes, gun, and badge and coolly walk out of the police station. This means, of course, that Monica will have to remain in the interrogation room and keep her mouth shut (hint, hint). The scene then ‘blinks’ ahead some twenty minutes. Monica’s superior, Sgt. Leslie Bennett (Krystin Pellerin) enters the interrogation room where she sees Monica sitting in a chair, her unseen hands presumably tightly cuffed behind the backrest and gagged with a tightly tied black cloth cleave… ...and clad only in her matching black bra and panties! An astonished Leslie asks, “What the Hell happened?” Monica - who is now madder than the proverbial wet hen - mutters, “What do you THINK (happened)?” It is all that Leslie can do to keep from bursting out laughing. Monica, now more embarrassed than angry, mutters, “Come on, (get me out of this).” Meanwhile, Natalie – now dressed like any other female plainclothes officer – slips unchallenged out of the police station to freedom. |

Title: Charlie’s Angels (1976) Episode: "Marathon Angels" (3.19) Original airdate: March 7, 1979 Synopsis: Two marathon runners, Sylvia Laven (Betty Jean Samuelson) and Sally Cole (Jeri Lea Ray), are abducted by kidnappers and spirited away in the back of a panel van. Their hands are cuffed in front and they are gagged with white cloths. However, for the rest of their on-screen time, their gags inexplicably jump from OTMs to cleaves and back again several times. So which girl had the OTM and which had the cleave? In this case, you can take your pick. |

I always like the one on General Hospital from about 20 years ago, Sharon Wyatt ("Tiffany") is tied to a chair & cleave gagged and when left alone with the bed guy's henchman, starts gag-talking about the "you'll never get away with this" stuff and gets admonished to be quiet. After a few seconds of silence, she says quite clearly "can you undo my gag for a second?" the baddie says "oh, what is it NOW, lady?" and Sharon mmpphhs "I just want to ask you a question, okay?" and then some unintelligible mmpphhs and then he ungags her, saying "okay, so what do you want?"...and they engage in a conversation. He ends up regagging her soon afterward |

Tuesday June 12 19:14:55 2018 Sarah Gadon In The Border |
Was there ever a scene for her during the show's three-season run? Although there's nothing in the database it wouldn't be the first time a scene went unreported for a number of years. Although unlikely it's been unreported for all these years it wouldn't be the first forgotten DID scene and one for Sarah of all people all these years later would be awesome. Seems the show had some DID action but not sure if Sarah ever saw any of it during the three-season run. |
