Re: Take Two
There was a preliminary scene from the first few minutes from the star's former TV show. Duct tape this time.

Damsel also blindfolded, which was removed. Not straight-on closeups, but decent enough views. Blonde with hair tied back. Bilson, as the TV cop, says the standard line "take me, let her go." Hopefully that scenario will play out again.

Tennant is becoming quite the DiD veteran, nice tight OTM gag, nice switch from her duct tape scenes. Great wide-eyed and feared expression when the thug interrupts her ungagging.

I didn't catch the entire show, but I think the premise was Tennant was also trying to investigate something and says "i'll do it myself." She goes undercover at a political party and is found B&G in the wine cellar.

Has any American commercial TV primetime pilot ever had two separate b&g scenes in the first episode?

My satellite went out at about the 30-minute mark until around 5 minutes before Emily was found in the closet tied to the chair. Was there any more stuff before she was actually found by the 2 lead characters? Did we see her get grabbed or tied or anything? When my signal came back, there was about 5 minutes of footage of stuff then the female lead hears mmmphhh-ing from a closet & opens it to find Emily tied to the chair. Was that all there was to the scene? Just want to see if I missed any pertinent action. Thanks!

Anyone have any idea as to the actress ID (doubtfully, as she had no lines)?. In the "guest cast" list for the episode (from IMDB), the only two unaccounted for females were a Katelyn Peterson as "girl", and a Kylee Bush and it did not say her character's name. The DiD in the char was called "Stacey" but there was no "Stacey" in the credits. NO biggie, just us obsessive completists like to know these things! haha

From photo searches, looks like Katelyn Peterson was the first Did

No, no capture scene. I was flipping channels, but I think the last time we see Tennant was when she bolted the car after a shootout alongside the leads. At that point she says "i'll do it on my own." Great words in a show like this. Even without the still, we'd probably guess she'd wind up B&G. When next shown, she was B&G in the closet in her server outfit.

Show didn't do well in the ratings, but since it's summer crap, airing of all 7 episodes should be certain.

I know I've seen the 2nd one before (quite sure it's a U.S. show) many years ago:

It was a really solid scene that could've been better with a capture scene/better angles of her in the chair. I always love the premise of someone going undercover and getting caught.

I quickly watched it last night and the show doesn't have the characters or draw in appeal that will make this show a keeper. Not surprised the ratings were poor and expect it to be a quick summer show and then out the door.

Agreed, Bilson is cute, and would look even better gagged, but unless ABC is short on shows, this one looks like it won't last. Also, if they were high on it, it wouldn't be debuting in summer.

On the scene, it was confusing. Tennant mentions early in the episode she needs to find something on the bad guys and declines more help from the 2 leads. Not sure if it's ever explained what she was doing at the party in the first place in the server's outfit, and she wasn't shown again after being ungagged. Likely a lot of stuff left on the cutting floor, especially since it was the pilot.

It’s an international co-production between a few countries so the US ratings aren’t wholly important, much like Ransom for CBS that they continue to air on Saturdays. I wouldn’t count this one out, necessarily.

Yeah, it felt like Rookie Blue (Canadian) went on forever, despite humble ratings. But, that one had positive reviews at first... This one, not so much. ;)
