Re: The Good Old Days
Speaking of a gag rendering a beautiful woman completely docile and compliant, which was really more my point than to re-ignite the old "which kind of gag is better" discussion, look at that picture of Heather Locklear. How much more docile could she be than when all she'd have to do is reach over and peel off her gag, but she doesn't?

Especially when comparing it to a PROPER tapegag scene like Ulee's Gold, which IMHO was as realistic as they come: we got wraparound gags (Jessica Biel's still being one of the best I've ever seen on mainstream TV), hands taped behind back, legs taped to chair, & energetic struggling (albeit not seen as much, but Biel having tipped over her chair suggested as much).

Then again, I won't even begin to list the amount of improvements which could've made that scene one of the greatest of all time...........

It was a movie, not a TV show.

Sure. But at some point it's been SHOWN on mainstream television (at least in the UK).

Didn't realise us brits were that far behind.

I did check the data base and couldn't see it thought I'd 'unearthed' a scene.

As for confusing Brody and Schwatzman. D'oh!

I guess, but you're initial comment was then misleading. We certainly distinguish here between scenes that come from mainstream movies and from various TV shows.

Blue Bloods - alert
Promo for this Friday's new episode of "Blue Bloods" shows series regular Amy Carlson getting kidnapped via handgag and shows a close up of her tape-gagged face. It airs this Friday at 9:00 p.m. CT on CBS.

Xena 2
Xena season 2 is now available in Wal-mart (and presumably, elsewhere) on DVD. Season 2 had the episode Blind Faith with Renee O Connor bound and gagged at the altar so she could marry a dead guy.

There was another Gabrielle gagged scene with Joxer in season 2, and presumably other scenes of no use to gag snobs.

Just a FYI.

"We"..... Ah, so you're now the voice of this message board. *shrug* Whatever. You're the only one taking my quote out of context, because the TV/movie thing wasn't the crux of my point regarding Ulee's Gold.

Looks like she's B&G in the bathroom. Would prefer Bridget Moynihan in that spot, but looks like it could be a good scene.

All six seasons of Xena have been available for quite some time. There are scenes through all six seasons, so if you're looking for something in particular, you can check it against the database.

I still don't get why the top looks like it's made of rubber. Isn't it supposed to be armor? Whatever. If she miraculously ever gets bound and gagged in that costume. I, like everyone else on this forum, will be ecstatic.

Yeah, it's like she's been frozen in mid-motion with an angry expression on her face, or something. Is Mr. Freeze in this thing? Very disappointing. I was hoping for a live-action television action/adventure drama, *not* a single photograph.

Also, her boots are red. In the other photo her boots were blue, matching her pants. What's up with that? It ruins the entire project for me.

Yeah, not really doing much for me. Much prefer the fuller hair style that she has when someone like George Perez draws her. I suppose they're trying to have her look more "realistic" but that's pretty useless when you consider the rest of her outfit. Superheroines are best left on the pages of comic books, generally.

I heard they "tweaked" the costume to try to soothe outrage from comic book fans, in particular making it less "shiny-looking." I guess the red boots are to throw a bone to the traditionalists.

I can remember six or seven years ago when it was rumored Charisma Carpenter might play the character. would've loved to see that. Also remember seeing a photo of Megan Fox in WW costume. Incredible.

No problem, these things happen to us all. Someone should have added it to the database. (Including me, I suppose.) It's actually not a bad show, BTW, especially as it progresses.

Jest if you want, but if nothing else, this should be better than the travesty that was the original movie with Cathy Lee Crosby. Those of you old enough to remember the horror, might want to look away from the original costume:

Well I agree with you that Amy Carlson is pretty hot in the scene. I am also impressed that this will be her second appointment with a rope and gag. Her first being on the soap opera Another World. At least she won't have a black eye like in that scene, a complete turnoff.

Now i'm the complete opposite, for me there's nothing more boring than a passive damsel. Give me a hostage who fights against her bonds and screams into her gag any day, it's much more exciting, most of my favourite scenes have a degree of action in them whether it's our heroine methodically working to cut through the rope around her wrists or just thrashing around helplessly.

In fact i'd go so far as to say that for me a good actress in loose bondage, doing her very best to convince us she is helpless is far more exciting than a docile damsel in genuinely strict restraints

This is the third full-treatment scene that the show has produced this season, and this is its freshman year; quite a track record! Fingers crossed that it gets renewed, this way the always alluring Bridget Moynahan can get in on the action. Anyone know if its been picked up for a second season?

You young whippersnappers! I'm old enough to have watched the actual premiere of the Cathy Lee Crosby version of WW. I still have nightmares. They aren't horrific as much as... confusing.

There's something of a subculture in Hollywood of people why secure the rights to some famous property and then make... something else.

"Okay, we own Moby Dick, so here's the pitch: Captain Ahab is a private detective in Las Vegas, the Great White Whale is an alien crime lord who owns half the casinos in the city, and Ishmael is a hot pole-dancer. Is Megan Fox available?"

Far fetched? Remember the recent "Tarzan" TV-series?

Anyhoo... I was being sarcastic (duh!). We should wait for the pilot to air... but by all means, share anything new that comes along! :-]

Day 1 of WW Runs Down Hollywood Boulevard
All the media sites are abuzz with the WW "news". Deadline [see URL] says they'll be doing more filming tonight and Thursday, so we'll probably see more pics.

I've seen two similar shots of Adrianne plus the one below, which is supposedly her stunt double.

Kidding aside, I like the new costume. (Meaning the new new costume.) It looks more practical... as practical as such things get, anyway.

Would like to suggest (with only a dash of sarcasm) that the Mod think about adding a Wonder Woman Costume category to his page to go along with Discussion, VCR Alerts, Bulletin Board, etc.

I, for one, would wait (again, I'm saying this with only a pinch of sarcasm) with baited breath for the next post.

Twitter has added an interesting element to 'stalking' various shows, as I'm sure others have already noticed. You can search something like #charliesangels and sometimes find shots from filming, or comments from anyone from stars to hairdressers about the days shootings. Always the possibility someone will mention something 'interesting'. And if you are braver than I, you can just shoot a message to someone involved with the show like 'any angels tied up in the pilot?'

A "WW Costume category"? Good idea. It can go next to the "Speculation About a Possible DiD-Scene on an Upcoming Episode of Some Soap Opera" category. :-) <-Smiley Face

I don't think you're going to find someone named Adian Brody in anything.

As for the other(?) poster, it's the very first episode of the show. Season 1, Episode 1: Stockholm Syndrome. "Bored to Death." TV show on HBO. Starring Jason Schwartzman, aka the Tiny Man's Ad(r)ian Brody.

Real Housewives of Orange County
Promo for this Sunday's episode shows Tamra Barney tape-gagged in a photoshoot from the No8 series. This is actual video footage, not photos. There is a second female with her, but she's not a housewife but a gorgeous lesbian pal that's in a few episodes.

The two are tape-gagged face-to-face and naked with the hands covering their breasts. With Tamra, there are shots that don't have the No8 in the frame, so it looks like she's just tape-gagged.

Now she wouldn't be my first pick from that series (Alexis Bellino would be pick), but she's not bad. Or Cristy Rice from the Miami series.

Show airs 10 p.m. on Sunday on Bravo and repeats about 100 times during the week.
