Sunday March 27 08:54:04 2011 CSI MIAMI |
Straight from Eva's mouth!! I'm looking forward to seeing how tomorrow nights kidnapping episode turns out. They kept zip tying and duck taping me to the floor of the van for an hour, and kept the cameras rolling to see if I could really, physically escape on my own- with varying degrees of success, of course! I did manage to really escape about 5 times, which was really cool, so I hope that the finished product looks real, because it was! All could be remedied if Natalia would pay a little more attention to her surroundings! posted on her forum...... |

FYI, the episode should be about 30 minutes late on the east coast because of basketball. Episode likely won't start until 10:30 or so. |
Sunday March 27 12:43:39 2011 scene help |
I have been searching for a tv scene since seeing caps on Fuzzweb ages ago. I've searched the database and I'm not coming up with anything relevant. I want to think the word "Spy" or "Spies" is in the title, but don't quote me on that. The caps featured an older lady (50s probably) in an office. A younger female (20s-30s) is dressed in a delivery service getup and I think she brought a package by. She then overcomes the older lady who is sitting in her office chair and wraps tape (white?) around her body. She also gets gagged with it. From what was written on Fuzzwebb, the scene happened at the beginning of the episode. Another cap from the series had one of the female leads tied up in a closet by another female. She had her hands handcuffed (maybe?) to the clothesrack, with a grey duct tape gag. I've looked through the "She Spies" entries, but none of them sound right. The premise of the show could also be "cat burgular" related or something like that. Can anyone help me out? Atomage |

TVLINE | Is Natalia by chance packing heat? Does she have any tricks up her sleeve to escape? No, but they let the camera roll while I was seriously duct-taped and zip-tied to the bottom of the van. And with varying degrees of success I escaped… or didn’t. They didn’t [bind me] lightly, so I was really chewing through the duct tape. TVLINE | And duct tape smells funky, right? And it tastes even funkier. [Laughs] |

Are these three scans (first two from the first ep you described, the bottom from the second one) from the show you were talking about? If so, the show is called "Thieves". |

The villian said that I'm glad we gagged her; she was getting on my nerves. So, the point was that she must have been mouthing off. |

Sunday March 27 17:17:35 2011 Tamara Fox bound and gagged in Batman #706 |
Hopefully my ability to determine the relative size of a linked image has improved. If so, here's a scene of a lovely cleave-gagged damsel from Batman #706 (from a few months ago). The damsel is Tamara "Tam" Fox, daughter of the Lucius Fox character from the Batman comics and films. I don't know if the scene continues beyond this page, but apparently she is tied up and dropped into the ocean with Batman, Lucius and another putz at the end of the issue and continuing into issue #707. |

Speaking of which, was it DiD circles who came up with that onomatopoeia, or has it always used been used in comics? (Not much of a comic fan myself, y'see.) Also, why is it always spelt with Ps in the middle? Shouldn't it be more like "MMFFHH"? I don't think I've ever heard a damsel being able to utter the P sound through any kind of gag, lol. |

Since the P is always followed by an H, it's supposed to sound more like an "f" sound as in phone, photo, phony, etc. Not that that particular sound is easy to make when a person is gagged either. |

Not that it matters much since the movie Lois Lanes (Margot Kidder, Kate Bosworth) don't see much action |

Tonight on Masterpiece Theatre if I am not mistaken there is a scene with the male lead and Laura Linney bound and gagged in a cellar. Masterpiece just began in the CDT. |

Sunday March 27 21:49:08 2011 39 Steps |
The scene is about 43 minutes into the movie , even though it states Laura Linney is the female lead ,that is not Laura, she is their regular narrator ,I think it must be a mistake listing her as the female lead. |

Gag comes off within 30 seconds. Brief scene, mid-range shots. Note she's dressed in old English attire and doesn't look anything like herself. That's two B&G scenes for her that were disappointing. |

According to the IMDB, the actress is Lydia Leonard. If somebody who watched the scene could compose a database entry, it would be appreciated by the rest of us. |

Sunday March 27 22:14:12 2011 Aflac commercial |
While waiting for CSI: MIAMI to come on, CBS just showed an AFLAC commercial which is a parody of silent movie damsel-in-distress scenes. A blond woman is tied to a railroad track (no gag) and is saved by the AFLAC duck. CBS just showed it twice within 10 minutes. It might be on again. |

MCH wrote: > Sam wrote: > Nice! Love how they put the obligatory > "MMPHH!" ... It only makes any sense as a sound effect for an OTM, because one has to have one's lips together to make the "mm" part of the sound. However, I don't think anyone can make the "ff/ph" sound unless the lips are apart without anything between them. I guess it's just a cliche/shortcut to show that the damsel isn't being passive. |

Sunday March 27 23:25:23 2011 CSI: Miami |
For the benefit of the west coasters, the episode opens with Horatio and another CSI standing over the body of a blonde murder victim, who is laying on the floor duct tape gagged. Eva gets a hood thrown over her head at the 4:24 mark, and is then scene tethered to the floor of a van by her taped wrists, with her ankles also taped, and tape gagged. A quick flash cut of the blonde victim, and they go to commerical. 9:23 they are back from commerical, and there is a shot of her tethered on the floor of the van, and the best view we get of her gag. 10:57 - the still gagged blonde is now on the autopsy table, and they peel off the tape while discussing the case. 12:05 - Back inside the van, the kidnapper peels off the tape gag so that he can have a conversation with Eva. Inbetween sentences, she starts biting thru the tape around her wrists. 14:10 - More conversation in the van, and more biting at the tape. 20:31 - She actually gets her wrists free, and attacks the driver, crashing the van. There are some more flashbacks at 30:20, and 54:00, but they are very fast cuts. |

Gagster wrote: > 12:05 - Back inside the van, the kidnapper peels off the > tape gag so that he can have a conversation with Eva. The kidnapper was driving the van. Eva peeled the gag off herself because he hands were tied right near her face. The thug also didn't seem alarmed she was ungagged. Couple issues with the scene. First, he grabbed her with a coat over her head but we never know how she was knocked out. Second, the guy is smart enough to duct tape her legs, hands and mouth, ziptie her hands and cuff them to the bottom of the van but not smart enough to tie her hands behind her back. |
