Re: Rebecca Lowman
Rebecca Lowman also narrates an audiobook called "Live to Tell" by Sue Gardner that has some nice first person accounts of being bound and gagged.

Honestly, I'd say anything with bound and gagged damsels would be "worth our time". Sometimes I think people here expect way too much.

Dearth Of Gag Scenes This TV Season

It's not on Mondays (Yet) but another show that's been a real waste of time DiD-wise, is NO ORDINARY FAMILY, which has been a NO bind, NO gag zone show this entire season so far.

This despite having a perfect set up (Family with super powers), despite having three babes ready to go every episode: Hot mom (Julie Benz), hotter daughter (Kay Panabaker) and even hotter assistant (Autumn Reeser), and despite the female family members having powers that lend themselves to serious hostage time in ropes and gags. Mom has super-speed (Difficult to use while hog-tied, and daughter has telepathic powers.(Golly, I'm gagged! I must use my telepathy to contact help!)

The hot assistant is even better, because she's kind of the comic foil for the show, being a geeky science "nerd" (A very hot science nerd... riiiiight. Only in Hollywood folks.) who's also big time into superhero comics.

Lately it's been a real graveyard for top gag scenes. Let's hope CSI: Miami pays off with a scene of decent length and gag time.

I am not so sure. Times have changed in the last 140 years. One can see virtually any scene that has ever been made with a few clicks of a mouse. I recall the late 1990s when finding a picture of Heather Locklear gagged was a treasure. Now, one can bring up any scene she has ever had in seconds. We now have access to scenes from around the world. Plus, 100s of adult sites many of which are satires or out right rip offs of the mainstream genre. (Christina Carter, all but name after Lynda, looks mighty hot in her WW costume).

I think the days of desperately seeking a 9 second scene with a lose gag and no visible bounds are over. Our standards should be higher and they are. If Hollywood is going to continue to exploit our interests, then the producers and directors and the actresses are going to have to take a few lessons from the "Rope. Expert" or "Models Tied." Ecpect more, demand more and you will get more.

So she wore a modestly cut leotard when the show was set during World War II, and the leotard with the bottom resembling a diaper when it was set in the present day?

Remember, the 1970s gave us the "Lost Women" and "Marathon Angels" episodes of Vega$ and Charlie's Angels. The former featured TWELVE beautiful young women bound and gagged in BIKINIS while the latter featured two hotties bound and gagged in hot pants. Also, wasn't there an episode of Vega$ where an attractive young woman is found bound and gagged in a health club while wearing a leotard?

The 70s are over, nearly 40 years ago. Time marches on. What have you done for me lately? A new era of bondage is at hand. The time has come for the mainstream media to catch up. No more hands tied in front, gags so lose they would fall off in a stiff breeze. Hot women, scantily clad, tied tightly with gags stuffed in their mouths and tied or taped in place.

Mainstream scenes can be great, good acting, clear pictures, story lines, famous actresses trussed up and gagged. The new WW show and the new Charlie's Angels show have great possibilities. They can fix what was wrong with the 70s.

Time may march on, but it doesn't always march forward. Take the Avengers as an example. Old show. But never has bondage in mainstream media been given more intelligent treatment. They knew it was fetishistic, but they didn't make it gratuitous. Hot damsels, tounge in cheek and sexy. We need more shows like that.

I don't know her name, but the I'd like to see the brunette villain in this scene get the treatment at some point. She was also the one who had Sarah Roehmer B&G in the van earlier this season.

This is not exactly true. There were several different costumes used throughout the course of the series, mostly for some special purpose (i.e., the swimming outfit unitard for the Dolphin episode. The main costume was always the familiar red top and blue bottom, with eagle breastplate and stars as decorations. When the series was transplanted from the 1940s to the 1970s, the size of the eagle was reduced, the hotpants were cut higher up her hips, and the number of stars was reduced. What both costumes have in common is that they look much better than the shiny blue one which the new series is using. I'm guessing that they tried to use the new one from the comic books as a guide, but that they have missed the mark.

Wonder Woman Expectations
Veterans of this forum know I've posted my share of speculations about coming movies or series. Generally, I'm of the glass-half-full school of DiD-speculation. That said...

Really, people. Let's let them actually make the pilot before we abandon all hope. First and foremost: WILL IT BE GOOD TV? That will be an important determinant of whether or not it stays on the air. (Not that being "good" always saves a show. "Fringe" is supposedly at risk, and IMHO it's a GREAT show.)

Anyhoo... bondage will always be secondary, a possible element of typical action/adventure plotlines... like the car chase.

Also, I've never seen Adrianne Paliciki in anything. Is she any good? I never thought Sarah Michele Gellar was all that attractive... then I watched a few episodes of "Buffy". My opinion changed (to put it mildly).

The bottom line: Give Wonder Woman a chance.

River City
Scene on River City last night on BBC1, it involved a young blonde lass named Hayley I believe, where she was taped to a chair and gagged. The episode is up on BBC iplayer for those in the UK, does anyone have a decent method of ripping video from there? It's quite a lengthy process because the episode is an hour long....

Pointless pessimism about shows that aren't even filmed yet;
Huwah!

First, Van has walked the walk. He had one of the first sites on the internet depicting some of our favorite scenes. Pictures such as Lynda Carter with a black cleave gag tied in her mouth or Diana Rigg tied to the tracks with a wad of white cloth tied in her mouth while she was tied to the tracks in a leather cat suit. Next, of course, he is right. If the show is never aired, there won't be any scenes at all. If there is a scene, it will be better if it is within a good script and well acted. So, when Van speaks, we all should listen.

That said, speculate and hope and voice our frustrations is what we do here.

Is there any doubt that Wonder Woman never being gagged in her costume despite endless oppourtunities is the single biggest source of frustration? The greatest "missed opportunity" is the missle scene which left her with her belt and without a gag. How hard wouuld it have been to have forced her to leave the belt then simply bind and gag her in the barn?

Wonder Woman is about to make a come back. Let's all hope the writers get the message--gag her, in her costume.

A million thanks for this heads up! I've posted it in the Video Page section, with detailed instructions on how I went about it.

Ah damn. So yes or no? It would be helpful to know what kinda scene I'm dealing with, since all that H.264 editing can be such a pain. :-P

YES. 2 females gagged and tied at kitchen table, male also, and one girl (not gagged) tied at head of table.

The gal only tied is the same one shown through episode when the male was either hanging gagged males or hiding with her. She was never gagged in her scenes.

The scene has a wife and daughter tied to chairs and tape gagged around a dining room table. The husband is standing on a stool with a hangman's noose around his neck. The female hostage is also sitting tied to a chair around the table, but she sort of comes and goes in the scene...

Also of interest, during the commercial break when the husband discovers his family is being held captive, there was an Aflac commercial (which ran here in New York). The commercial is in the old silent movie style, with a girl tied to the railroad tracks, no gag.
