dBase Entry for Chloe?
Someone needs to make a dBase entry for the "Smallville" episode "Masquerade" (10.14). That's the one where Chloe (Allison Mack) is tied hands-over-head and up on her tippy-toes in that HOT red dress. (I only saw a little of the episode or else I'd do it myself.)

Adrianne Paliciki as Wonder Woman
One thing worth noting is the prominence of the famous Golden Lasso in the new costume design. It's difficult to believe the writers are NOT going to use that thing ONY as a long, skinny, shiny lie detector.

We should start a pool on the first episode in which the tables are turned and WW is bound by her own lasso. :-]

Me neither although I do prefer the shorts. As long as she gets some dungeon time you won't hear a peep from me.

Re: Adrianne Paliciki as Wonder Woman
I think the new outfit is a lot sexier to be honest - but then again, being in my 20's I didn't watch the show during the 70's like many of you, so I don't have those wonderful childhood memories. I do have my own wonderful memories from shows during the 90's though, haha

Man, that's going to be one tough prediction market. It's so hard to get a read on how this show will pan out regarding our interests. The character is such a strange fit for a 2011 American sensibility, David E. Kelley has shown no interest in winking at kinky interests in any of his other shows, and you know there are plenty of PC interests out there keeping an eye on how much of a "strong female role model" the character turns out to be.

AND YET... the information that's rolled out about the show indicates some degree of promise that Kelley isn't completely ignoring the original roots of the character. We obviously have the lasso, the sexy outfit, and the fact that vintage characters such as Etta Candy will be included.

Kelley's known to be a button-pusher on his shows, but does that mean he'll have the stones to include some (likely understated) nods to BDSM? I figure he might if it was on HBO or Showtime, or even one of the more progressive basic cable channels (like FX), but even in 2011 I'm not sure I see that happening on NBC.

Then again, this is ultimately a Warner Bros. Television project, and it's responsible for Smallville, which finally started living up to its DiD potential over the past few seasons. Ultimately, I still have a hard time buying that Kelley's going to be able to balance all the elements to appeal to enough viewers -- the same concern I have over the new Charlie's Angels -- but I'm curious to see what happens.

Rant over. Bedtime.

I don't think the new outfit is fine, but I do agree with you that the leotard bottom on the old outfit does resemble a diaper. They should've taken this issue up with the costume designer. I'm sure they had leotards during the 1970s that fit more snugly.
Though I will not complain if the new Wonder Woman is bound and gagged in her modest outfit, I would prefer that she be bound and gagged in a leotard.

Meh--It's a show about a sexy superhero. That gives it a lot of potential. We'll just have to wait and see how it pans out. Incidentally, the first photos from the new Charlies Angels show them jumping off a boat, ducking as a car explodes... in other words, a lot of action, which I think bodes well.

Oh yeah, I was just wondering, does anyone remember any plots of early episodes that might fit this scene? Female villains or any of that nice stuff?

CSI Miami tonight
At the end of tonight's episode, there should be a preview of next week's show, which has Eva Larue tied up in a van (and hopefully gagged!). Anyone with an early feed like two weeks ago, if you can update on the promo, it would be appreciated.

Also tonight, 10 p.m. on A&E in "Breakout KIngs", Serinda Swan held at gunpoint. No bonds shown but possible. Show repeats at 11 p.m. if anything pops.

I don't want to over-analyze her costume but it looks great to me, large breasts almost falling out of the top, blue boots and spandex. No problem with that at all. Will be interesting to watch her heaving cleavage as she chases and fights the bad guys. Great job NBC!

I believe that pictures from news stories are permissible, since they are considered part of mainstream media. Contributors have, on munerous occasions, posted pictures of female protesters who have gagged themselves as part of their protest.
May I ask where this picture is from?

Obviously, Ms. Paliciki demanded a 'no-costume-that-looks-like-diaper' clause in her contract....

That's nothing you should see the British video cover

Nothing of interest in the film itself sadly, the cover is somewhat misleading

So what you appear to be saying is that Brits have a higher threshold for being 'motivated' by dvd covers. Not only do they need more blood - but they need ankle bindings AND a gag. All that and still, as you say, nothing of interest. Doubly depressing for the Europeans....

I'm afraid that's actually incorrect, at least regarding the version I've seen. There's a scene, but the film itself is so gruesome -- in particular the scene itself -- that I haven't commented on it previously.

Miss Delfino, who is cute and has a crazy hot body, gets strapped to a surgical table and gets a thin white cleave gag (unlike the Photoshopped OTM on the DVD cover) a little after the midpoint of the film, as best I recall -- maybe just before the hour mark?

That sounds great until you see the scene: She's a captive undergoing a gross forced medical procedure by a psycho surgeon, and it's shot in such a way that you don't see much of her gagged face. Personally, it just skeeved me out, but YMMV.

Moxx, perhaps you saw a different cut of the film? I wouldn't be surprised if the scene was cut for a tamer version, because it's definitely trying to play for the Hostel/Captivity crowd, albeit with a Blair Witch/found footage conceit.

Theoretically true, but there have been plenty of sexy superhero washouts in the past, at least if you limit your consideration to gag scenes. (I realize that's a bit of a limited definition, but I'm just repping the gag snobs here.)

We might get a Diana Prince gag scene if we're lucky, but I'd put the odds of WW getting gagged while in the suit at 100 to 1 at best. I (really, REALLY) hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it. Even the original series didn't try to hook that up.

Breakout Kings, CSI
Nothing tonight. CSI: Miami is about 20 minutes late on the east coast, so next week's promo won't come on until 11:20 or so.
Sunday March 20 23:21:27 2011
CSI Miami
Next week's preview shows Eva LaRue in the back of a van bound hands in front with duct tape. There is also a brief shot of her removing a duct tape gag with her bound hands.
Sunday March 20 23:21:29 2011
CSI Miami
Looks like Eva LaRue will be getting the full treatment next week according to the promo where she is shown tied up with duct tape and a short where she peels a piece of tape off of her mouth

Looked like she was cuffed. Hopefully this will be more than blink gag scene.

CBS has been running the opening scene on their web site during the week, so maybe something in advance.

Looked like her hands might have been ziptied as well. Either way, she's bound very tight with duct tape. Promo showed the thug throwing a bag over head and pulling her into the van. Hopefully, this will be an onscreen tying and gagging.

Also, first victim shown in the mourgue with duct tape on her mouth, so an earlier scene is also coming. Looked like a young blonde.

I suspect that tape won't be on there very long, but the nice thing about the preview is that the whole piece of tape appears to be very sticky.

CSI Miami: Eva La Rue
I am so happy to see that Natalia Boa Vista (Eva LaRue) is receiving the full treatment. That is two of the female cast members to receive the treatment. Emily Procter being the other. I just wish the other police procedurals would give their female cast members the full treatment, like Criminal Minds et al. but I digress, Finally, Eva gets the full treatment let's hope its a long scene and not a blink and miss.
