Miss Cleo wrote: > I have no argument with that. I don't have an argument against this beautiful brunette playing Wonder Woman, but I do have one against the outfit she's wearing. Why isn't she wearing the star-spangled leotard that is Wonder Woman's trademark outfit? If she's bound and gagged in this outfit, I certainly will have no complaints, but it would be more delectable to see her bound and gagged in the leotard. |

The reason she is wearing the different uniform is because DC Comics changed her suit from the leotard to the one with the pants. I could be wrong, but I don't think so. |

I could be wrong, but I don't think so. DC did indeed change the costume, and the story was covered by Comics Contiuum at the time... the story is at the link. You also have to figure that if DC hadn't changed the costume, the producers of the new show would still have wanted a different look from the old series. I don't care how attractive the new actress might be, Lynda Carter looked liked she stepped off the pages of the comic book - Absolutely perfect casting. |

Saturday March 19 01:08:47 2011 The Secrets of Isis |
There's no mention of this show in the database, does anyone know if it ever produced any scenes? The main character activates her super powers with a magic word so you'd expect a nice gagging could be used for tension at least once. I know the comic it was based on produced at least one scene. The whole series is up on Netflix right now. |

They show her in that picture at the end of the article like that. |

I could be wrong, but I don't think so. Thanks for the information, Jack, but do you also know why they did this? That star-spangled leotard was her trademark outfit. Her sex appeal, enhanced by the leotard, was an indelible component of her persona, and now they've excised this with the more conservative outfit. |

Saturday March 19 09:37:53 2011 Interesting Dr Who fan-fiction |
Although this is only fan-fiction, this story features the ravishing Amy Pond in our kind of situation. At one point she is taken captive by the Meddling Monk and The Master and is bound and gagged for some time. It's not exactly a gold mine, but I think it should keep fans of Karen Gillan happy until the new series airs. http://community.livejournal.com/dwfiction/2826842.html http://community.livejournal.com/eleven_amy/130837.html |
Saturday March 19 09:54:43 2011 Anti alert for Brenda Starr serial |
This lost serial was released this month. Since it is Brenda Star and even has a pic on the back of her getting tied up and about to be gagged, there should be some scenes for her right? Nope, nothing. They must have cut the scene from the original serial(like they apparently did with some other scenes in the production photos that were not in the serial itself) because she had no scenes. Also it was one of the worst serials ever as regards action and cliffhangers. So one one else needs to waste their $ on this. |

Amy Pond is one of the best companions for the Doctor ever. What a cutie! |

That star-spangled leotard was her > trademark outfit. Comic book writers and editors are always doing something "shocking" to try to bring new readers to their books, or at least to sell more issues for a month or two. I'm just on the very outer fringe of comic book fandom, but I know that in the past few years Superman, Capt. America, Batman, and others have all "died." (I believe they all eventually "got better." I know that a lot of characters have had costume changes for one reason or another. Generally this does succeed in getting higher sales for a short time but the buzz generally wears off pretty quickly and doesn't help in the long run. Sort of the way the Academy awards this year thought they could grow their audience by having younger hosts who would appeal to young viewers - didn't really work. But there, as with comics, a superficial "Big Event" is easier than actually coming up with something that would be interesting and well done. |

Lynda Carter sure is a hard act to follow. However, those britches look like a diaper. The new outfit is fine. |

I was wondering the same myself. No episode by the name of "Fringe" seems to have aired since then. |

I think she is the L.A. casting director for both Criminal Minds and Fringe. Does it specify which Criminal Minds show she auditioned for. If we match the guest stars list we might be able to figure out the episode. |
